...my DSis and I visited our brother today, at the hospital. He was in really good spirits and even sat up with his legs dangling from the side of the bed. They even removed the wound-vac, since the gaping hole in his foot is 'almost completely filled in' [ ]...it seems that the MRSA and other infections are more under control too, but he still is on intravenous. He also still needs to have a knee-replacemnt surgery, but that's on the back-burner for now...

That's a tough call. Do you let him undergo multi surgeries or do you clear out the infection?

My grandfather had a lot longer than 5 years; but still passed away far too young.

I'll be thinking of y'all and will light a couple of candles when I'm next in church.

I will keep you and your brother in prayer. It is good to know he is in good spirits. That is very helpful.

Kim I am so sorry to hear your brother's problems continue. It's been a long haul. I will continue to hope that he gets better.

My eyes are still a bit swollen and bruised. I'm back at work. I've been there so long it's like family so I don't care that they see me. I'm not as happy with the look as I'd hoped but I can see better now.
