I thought I read somewhere where you could get all-you-can-drink milkshakes. Where is this and are they worth it?

The all-you-can-drink milkshakes is at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.

It's at The Whispering Canyon in WL. They are worth it and great!!!! They even let you switch flavors!!!! :earboy2:

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge!

And it is very true! http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_wc.htm

They are $4.39 and come in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry and even one is worth every penny...they make them with real ice cream and whipped cream and although we've only had the chocolate, it was incredible. DH got 3 once but I have never had more than 2. And with all the food, that seemed like a lot. But they make a yummy appetizer while you wait for your food and an automatic dessert. And hey, you're at Disney! Enjoy!

They have them available at breakfast, lunch and dinner and I highly recommend them as well as the whole restaurant.

Wish I had known about this a few weeks ago before our trip. Dh would've been in heaven. At least I know for the next time now.

They also now have orange. We didn't try that flavor but it looked interesting as it was being brought out for others. We love getting them and could almost make a meal out of just that.

We are going to Whispering Canyon the 1st day we arrive. My husband will love the milkshakes!!!

Our boys each had 2 chocolate ones when we visited for lunch over Memorial Weekend. There were wonderful. They were so great, we probably could have skipped ordering food for the boys! All they wanted were those shakes. It's all their 2.5 yo sister wanted, also. We should have ordered one for her, too; but she doesn't usually like shakes all that much. The shakes come out in small glasses but can be refilled as often as you like. They come topped with whipped cream.

The Whispering Canyon milkshakes are the best I have ever tasted. You must give them a try - yum :flower:

ITA...we had them last week and we're so full from drinking them we didn't even need food...LOL

Anyone know if these milkshakes are including on the dining plan? I think I read somewhere that some CM's said they're a "dessert" and others said "drink". Anyone know what the current situation is? I just know my family would love these milkshakes! :teeth:

I better make sure to take DH here on a non-park day, as he will be too water logged (or is it milkshake logged :rotfl2: ) to do anything but rest after drinking all that milkshake!!LOL

Thanks for that tip!
Can't wait to try these shakes!

DS13 & I have ARs for brkfst, lunch & dinner while staying at VWL in August.
Not sure if DS should order it before we spend the day at Typhoon Lagoon though. The other days Im sure he will.

I would suggest NOT ordering it before a day at TL.....they are very filling..I had 1.5 with dinner and that was really pushing it....I bordered on feeling sick but they were so good I could not control myself....hehe.....I imagine having them before playing at a water park may not have the best outcome....they are soooo yummy though!!!!

When we were there in May they counted as our drink.

DH and I made the mistake of ordering these and the all you can eat skillet! :earseek: I was only able to drink part of my milkshake, so I felt like I wasted it! But it was very good! DH had the orange, and it tasted just like a creamsicle! Very good!!! :earboy2:

WooHoo - I just added it to my list of must do's - I love me some milkshakes and lots of em :rotfl:

Finding out about this milkshake deal will definately help my vacation! We are staying at the WL in October. I told my DH that I read about "all you can drink milkshakes" and he said that he was "all over that!" Just like Keys2Kindgdom says! Thanks you guys! :grouphug: Really looking forward to the tasty treats.
