We've all seen, heard and read about inappropriate cell phone use. Here's a great story for you.

I'm a family practice physician. I constantly get annoyed by patients answering their phones during their exams but today was the best (or worst).

I was in the middle of examining a male patient's privates (the appropriate term would get blocked I assume). His phone rang during the exam and HE ANSWERED IT! I guess the female equivalent would be answering your phone during a GYN exam.

Amazing!

O...M...G...

I was gonna post a story, but mine doesn't even come close to this!!

I have a better one for you....

Florida duo nabbed after "Catwoman" phone spat
JULY 28--Meet Warronnica Harris and Terrell Tolson. The Florida couple got popped this week at a St. Petersburg theater after Harris, 23, allegedly refused to end a cell phone call as the opening credits for "Catwoman" rolled. When an off-duty police officer working at the theater tried to curtail her chat, Harris announced that "she could talk as much as she wanted on her phone," according to this police report. In short order, Tolson, 25, joined in, allegedly telling Officer John Douglas that he would kick the cop's (you know what). The report quotes Harris as saying she would "hit the cracker in his head." In a bid to subdue the duo (pictured below in mug shots snapped by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office), Douglas blasted them with pepper spray. Harris and Tolson were eventually charged with disorderly conduct--and spared having to sit through another Halle Berry bomb. (3 pages)

Catwoman Spat

I heard a funny story on the news a couple of weeks ago. I don't know where it happened, but a crook broke into a museum by going through a skylight and climbing down a rope. After collecting the valuables, he was unable to climb back up to escape. The place was locked up so he used his cell phone to call the police to get him out.

Did he sound a little breathless or high-pitched during the call??

;)

Sorry Doc, but if I were undergoing that exam, I might welcome a distraction too;)

The Pastor at my kids' school/Church reminds everyone to turn them (and pagers, etc.) off before he begins. ;)

I hate re-living this WORST cell phone moment, but you asked. :( Mind you, I only have the phone for emergencies, I do not use the thing regularly, and rarely give the number out......so, imagine my HORROR, and I MEAN Horror, when I entered the viewing for my deceased Uncle, and while viewing the photo montages, the phone rang!! I let it go, but I was very embarrassed!:o Follow that RIGHT up with being at the casket of my Uncle, with my Mom, and it rang AGAIN!!! I was now wishing the floor would open up and swallow me. :faint: I immediately left the room, and called my DS back, the caller both times, and chewed him out for TWO totally senseless calls.

Note: I have since learned how to 'operate' my phone better. :o

Funny thing is, no one else will admit to remembering this happening. I think they're being kind. ;)

I've got a good one too:

Our gym is a cellphone-free zone, meaning that no cells are allowed anywhere in the workout area.
Some time ago a young lady came in carrying her towel and a cellphone to a treadmill. She then placed her phone on the 'dash' of the treadmill and started running at about 5-6 mph. About five minutes later the phone rang, she picked it up, pressed the talk-button and stopped running. 'Unfortunately' :teeth: the still moving conveyor belt of the treadmill shot her off the device backwards at aforementioned 5-6 mph:jester: She landed spreadeagled on the floor in front of the treadmill and her phone came after her via the still running belt.
The other people around, my wife and I nearly bust a gut and had to do our best to avoid falling off our treadmills because we were laughing so hard:rotfl:
She wasn't hurt, but very embarrassed and we never saw her again at the gym.
