All those who have rescheduled trips for this weekend..check in please

I rescheduled my trip today from saturday till Sept 6th-13th. This is the only time we can go this fall, and I hope all is ok for travellers to arrive by monday. Wanted to go so badily this weekend, but not taking any chances and Orlando is a long walk with no air service either now....

My heart is with you all right now, both Florida residents and the visitors there. I hope everyone is safe and it is less strong than they predict.

What are everyones new travel dates ......

Another depressed person here, we were supposed to leave on sept 4th saturday, but i changed it to sunday, who knows if we will even get out on sunday. i guess we just wait. I was going to try and leave tomorrow, but I am a big scardy cat, and dont want to be in the middle of that storm. I am in NY and we dont have weather like that, only SNOW storms. LOL
just keep praying it dies down in strenght, because it definitely is not going to turn back to sea.

Add me to the depressed list. We were taking a short weekend trip and have no plans to reschedule. My thoughts and prayers are with the folks in FL

We were scheduled for Saturday, then Friday night, then Friday morning, now Sunday and I am guessing that that will also have to be changed to sometime HOPEFULLY? on Monday. It kept looking like the path might go below Orlando, but now the projections are right through it again! I guess we will wait and see. If all is well and just the airport is not open, we are considering flying into Jacksonville, but with the traffic, we might be better of just to wait another day or so. Not much chance of rescheduling for another time, so if we don't get there on Monday, I guess it is a bust.

Lots of prayers and well wishes headed down for all those that are there. My sister is in Orlando and is getting nervous!

We were scheduled for weekend trip also, would have been in about Ocala right about now! We're scheduled for 11/19 - 11/28,
just have to wait until then.

Oh. Well. right now we are waiting for the hurricane. I am right near Ft. Lauderdale, so....

we will be going up next weekend Thurs 9/9-Sun 9/12.Yeah!

We were always scheduled to fly in from Pa on 9/7 and right now we're hoping that's still a go. But in addition we have lots and lots of family in Orlando and Tampa, so we're praying first for the safety of everyone.

We were scheduled to go 9/3-9/12 and now we are taking a shortened trip from 9/19-9/25. We had to cancel the Universal portion, but I am glad at least we are still able to do Disney. It's still a bummer, though...We would've been leaving tonight!

I would have been going yesterday and coming home on Monday. My airline has since canceled all flights til Monday night so my worry of being "stuck" would have come true.

I rescheduled to October 8th - 11th and then I was already going October 25th to Nov 1. Its funny because it is the second time this year I have taken two WDW trips within two weeks. The first was May when I went with my husband for a belated anniversary trip and then went to WDW with my 4 y.o. and some other family for Memorial Day.

I still have yet to reschedule the trip with the friend I was going down with this weekend, but most likely will try to do that in December if time and money permit.

Then in February/March we were planning to move to Florida, but I am beginning to think Charley and Frances are trying to tell me something.

We were supposed to leave for the airport in about 2 hours. We're rescheduled for Tuesday am, first thing. We're hoping that's a go. We added one extra night, coming back on Sunday 9/12. The silver lining is that on that extra night, we're staying in a Grand Villa at BWV.

Mostly we hope everyone stays safe, though!

We were originally scheduled to go Monday the 6th through the 13th... I figured with all the uncertainty of the path of the hurricane, etc, it would be best to delay. So I called my airline and Disney today and we're now going Thursday the 9th through the 16th. The boyfriend and I, luckily have a lot of flexibility in our time off from work. I was really impressed with how easy it was to switch everything! And there was no hold time whatsoever calling Disney today, so that was a plus!

All of the CMs that I spoke with were so cheerful and helpful... I was SO impressed by them! If I was in a likely path of a hurricane, I don't think I'd be able to do much... let alone help people with their vacations!

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone who might be affected by Frances...

So sorry to hear you all had to change your plans. I know how disappointed you must be.

I do want to mention some information that I came across regarding Orlando International Airport (MCO) -- it appears that it might be closed from Friday afternoon until sometime Monday.

Please stay in touch with your airlines regarding your flights.

For those of you driving -- please drive carefully, there might still be storms in the area. Also, gasoline might be hard to find in some areas. Traffic heading back to Florida early in the week could be heavy as all the evacuated families head back to their homes.

Add me to the depressed list. We went from arriving Friday afternoon, then added a night Thurs to get there safely, then changed our minds and rescheduled to Monday. I know we did the right thing rescheduling but I have this sick knot in my stomach that this storm is not going to arrive until Sunday late (it just SITS there!!) and we are rescheduled to leave Monday AM - which will have to be postponed AGAIN. I am hoping to fly into Tamp or Orlando - whoever can get me there quicker. I am just thankful I have SWA tickets. They are SO flexible. I even debated again whether to fly into Tampa tomorrow AM if this thing weakend more but it is so unpredictable so we are sitting and waiting and hoping and praying!!
