All the way from Japan to enjoy the WONDER of Disney--The Cruise

What a fantastic trip report! When I started reading it, I didn't realize it was several years old. I'm suppose to be making dinner, but got so into it! I cried, I laughed. I am hopping and praying your health is doing better. :grouphug:

You have a beautiful family! :lovestruc

Thanks for the compliment. My life and health is much steadier than those days? :cool1:

Did you go all the way back to the land portion of the trip?

My girls have both grown up now. They won't be going on our cruise next year...just me and my wife.:woohoo:

I'm sorry, but no, I don't have the time to go back and I only just read cruise trip reports. I think I just asked if you were okay. My apologies. I was just asking and praying for you.

Have a great cruise!

No problem...:) and I appreciate the thoughts and prayers

I just finished reading both of your reports. Loved them! I can't wait for your next adventure :)

Oh, by the way.....whatever happened to "the boy"? :rotfl:

That particular boy has moved on. There have been a few more boyfriends since then. And now my youngest has a boyfriend also....OH the HEADACHES of having daughters!!:scared1:;)

Thank you for reading my old report.

Great TR! :thumbsup2 I read it all last night and this morning (land and sea). My husband thinks I am nuts....Kept on asking why I was reading about another family's vacation and looking at their pictures? :lmao: It was very entertaining and had to finish it so I can get on with housework. I am glad to hear you are well. We are heading for our first cruise in December of this year on the Fantasy :cool1: ...can't wait. Thanks for sharing!

Hey, I know this TR is a "blast from the past" but I really enjoyed reading it! And it made me appreciate the "problems" of having a toddler & a preschooler. Oh sheesh! When they're teenagers, they will be MY HUSBAND'S kids! :lmao: I'm sure you and your girls laugh now at how they were as teens! Beautiful family BTW :cutie:

Thanks everyone for reading my TR and enjoying it. I was really happy when this got bumped back up....Oh the memories!!

You have a beautiful かぞく! ^_^

I enjoyed reading your TR :) DH and I will be going back to Japan in about 2 years (I fell in love and envy that you live there!) and plan to visit Tokyo Disneyland & Sea!

I'm glad your けんこ is much better!

I do hope you are able to have more TRs in the future :)

Thank you for the compliment on my family. I actually have the kanji for Kazoku tattooed on my back along with my wife and daughters names.

Japan is a great country and being this close to Disney SEA is definitely lucky. I do miss the states sometimes though.

どういたしまして ^_^

Awe, that's so sweet! I'm horrible with Kanji, I only remember a few like 日本, 水, and 東京.

I agree, Japan is so beautiful, the country, culture and the people :) Perhaps I can contact you when DH and I our planning our trip to Tokyo Disney?

While I haven't been in Japan for 10 years, the 5 weeks I was there, I was missing some food and comforts. I can only imagine how it would be for you (and everyone else from the states who are living in Japan).

I'm always open to meet and help people when they come over. I can give you some behind the scene local tips for TDR.:cool2:

Hi tokyodisneydad!!! remember me? you helped me when i was planning my daughter's trip to japan - the tokyo disney resorts part of the trip..

that was way back in 2009 i think.....or maybe in 2008....hard to remember..

anyway, she did go to japan (with a friend)...they were there for almost a month....visiting tokyo, nikko, kyoto, nara, kobe, hiroshima, tokyo disney resort, and some other places that i don't recall...

they had an awesome time! of course....
i was worried when i was planning, because i'd brainwashed her to have such high expectations (i LOVE japan), and i was worried she'd be disappointed....but no, she loved it!!!
including TDR!! she ended up staying an extra day - she was originally scheduled for 4 days at TDR, but then instead of going back to tokyo, she decided to spend the last day in TDR and go straight from there to the airport..
she had no problem staying an extra night at the hilton (which she loved by the way - she said the service there was excellent)..
that was the only western hotel she stayed in during her trip..
everywhere else was at a ryokan, which she preferred.

so thanks for your help!!!!

Yes I do remember you. I am glad your daughter loved Japan.

I am currently planning my next great adventure, but it is still so far away.:scared1:

this is great! I'm so glad that others are enjoying the reports too. If you haven't, get in there and read this...it's quite the tear jerker!

This is one of the cool things about TR's...they are timeless.

:thumbsup2
