I was just thumbing through my new Passporter and it had a note saying that the ASSp might be closing for refurbishment. Does anyone know for sure? and if so when? We are value resort people and this resort is my husband's choice - he says that if I have to drag him (yeah right - he loves it - just won't admit it until we actually get there - then try and get the smile off of his face) to Disney then he should be able to be in a "comfortable" environment! ;)

Thank you!

I have to LOL at this. This would be my luck, since we are finally booked there for this summer.
Anyone have any info on this?

There have been rumors along this line ever since Pop Century opened up, saying that once we open, the All-Stars will go under rehab.

However, it's just a rumor at this point. If any of the All-Stars were to close for rehab, my guess would be Movies first. From what I'm to understand, both Sports and Music have had rehabs within the past few years, however, Movies hasn't since it was opened.

Let's hope that if it's true that it's nothing like what they've been doing to Shades of Green....it's been taking them FOREVER!!

When we were over at xmas, I got chatting to a WDW driver (as you do) and he was telling me the plan was that once FQ was complete (anytime now) then they were doing a blitz job on Riverside and then Sports was getting done, becuase it was showing the worst wear and tear. I think he said it was pencilled for late fall, but that can always change!!!!!!!

Huh???:scratchin
That doesn't sound like what we've been hearing about POR lately.
I understood that after FQ, they would do POR in sections, but still as extensive as they are doing at POFQ.

Although Sports really does need it. IMHO.....Movies doesn't need it nearly as bad as Sports or Music.
But with Pop open now....they could have Sports closed at the same time as POR.
