I have managed to get AP rates of $54.86 per night at the All Star Sports and Music between 8 and 22 December. But I don't know which resort to choose!

Anyone got any preferences between the two resorts? If so, can anyone advise any particular (standard) room location at either of them?

Thanks for your help!

I prefer Music just because I like the theme a little better than sports. Jazz is a great location and they are the second buildings back.

I haven't stayed at Music, but I loved Sports when I stayed there. I did walk through Music though and really enjoyed the theming and the neat pools there. I stayed in Touchdown at Sports and liked the location b/c it was a shorter walk to the food court and bus stop than some of the other buildings.

It seems to me that ASSP has a kids football convention in early Dec. I could definately be wrong though. We're at ASMu this Octobwer. Have a great time

We have walked through the music, it is cute. We always stay at the sports. Sports is the first one in on the right...so more convenient to us. Also...we like the bartenders at the sports!

Although we've stayed at both, we didn't spend much time at Music. It tends to be spread out lengthwise so the bldgs get further and further from the main Hall. We paid extra for Calypso for this very reason.

We enjoyed Sports very much and have been there twice (once in Baseball bldg and then in Basketball). The pools were fun, food court and gift shop good. Hoops was much quieter and close to parking. Homerun Hotel was busier and noiser. I'd recommend Touchdown (Football) if you don't have a car as parking is not too close. A first floor room served us well at Hoops. As was stated, this one is the first resort as you turn off so it's closest to the parks etc. We had no problems with the bus at Music though. Used our car mostly at Sports.

I guess it depends on what kind of theming you like overall.

To me the rooms, food courts selections, pools and other amenities are very similar. Why not choose whichever theme is most appealing to you?

My fav is sports and I'm not a sports fan by any means. Bus stops at Sports 1st when the busses are sharing routes in the off peak times of the day is the main reason and too I think Sports is the least popular of the budget resorts.

Don't got my ASsports map handy but we prefer football but not facing the football field. Last time we got in the building on left as you look up towards baseball section room faced the front of the resort. There was even a short cut to the bus stop and we didn't have to go back thru the stadium and food court if we didn't need to go there.

Also there was a small parking lot out in the front too that we parked in that was fairly handy. We don't use car much once we there but usually need to go back to car for more cokes that we haul down with us.

Also once unpacked we take the bags back out to van so we don't have to find a place in room to store them. Middle of stay when laundry bag is full we take it out when we get more cokes and get out another laundry bag for the room.

The day before we leave or the night before we go out get our bags load them up and only leave what we need for the last night and next morning in the room so we have more time to enjoy the last day of our stay. Meaning we can get in the park earlier.
