We are planning a trip for eight in January. I had first decided on a All-Star music family suite and then an extra room but discovered that three regular rooms is actually a few hundred dollars cheaper. Does anyone have any input on if it would be more advantageous to have the suite? We’re going to have all adults and one preschooler.

And if I was going to do three rooms I could then possibly go to the All-Star movie resort which might be more fun for the four-year-old.

We’ve mostly only stayed at Old Key West and never a value resort. But since I am picking up the tab for everybody I need to keep the cost down where I can.

I think it would depend on the group dynamics. Is everyone related? If so, how? Have the adults shared vacation lodging before? I should have asked these questions before a trip we took of 8 adults and 1 toddler. If I could go back I would have reserved separate rooms/villas for each couple or family unit.

How many sleeping surfaces and how many bathrooms do you need?

3 separate rooms = 3 bathrooms and 6 beds.

This right here...unless you need the kitchen area of the suites...

If you do the suites and a regular room, you get 3 bathrooms, but only 5 beds (and 2 are pull downs)

I would do three rooms - save money and get more real beds!

I am thinking yes to the three rooms. And if I'm going to do that then all-star movies is the same price which may have better decor.
