All Star Movies

Does anyone know for sure that the All Star Movies Resort has rooms with 2 double beds and a roll in shower in the bathroom?

I had understood that all the roll in shower rooms had King beds and now I am being told that there are some rooms with double beds.

Has anyone stayed in or seen a room at All Star Movies with 2 doubles and a roll in shower?

I can not believe that there is no response on this. No one here has stayed at All Star Movies?

This is being asked for my neighbor who is a veteran and double amputee. She has never stayed at a Value level is nervous about how she is going to handle the bathroom and sleeping accomodations.

I have been told conflicting things when I call Disney and Special Services. One time I am told that all of these rooms are King size beds and anther time they tell me that they do have double beds.

She is traveling with her sister and they need separate beds.

Hi, just saw your thread and wanted to reply. From what I remember, the room we stayed in at the resort, did have two beds and a roll-in shower. There's even a fold-down bench seat in the shower too. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response! A fold down seat in the shower would really help her also!

I just want her to have a nice time and not go to check in and have nothing but problems!

There are only king size rooms with roll in showers at the All Star Movies. If there are more then two in your party then you are given an adjoining room.

There are only two building with the roll in showers at All Star Movies. Preferred ,Fantasia (pink building with ballerina) and Might Duck (can't remember the building)

I'm not sure with the room renovations what bedding types are now in the value resorts but I wouldn't worry about it either way. Special services will note the request on his reservation and provide appropriate accomodations for their party size. He should plan on going and having a fantastic time! If stamina is a concern he might wish to reserve a room in the preferred section or if he books non-preferred, then Mighty Ducks is actually closer to the food court and bus stop at All Star Music. They can go to either one. The bathrooms are spacious and I think the measurements and perhaps a photo are posted on one of the top threads here. ---Kathy
