All Star Movies vs. Holiday Inn -- Transportation

Carolb3

As you know, the codes are not out yet for Feb. I know about not being able to change dates due to my tight work schedule. I would check the WDW website or mousesavers.com frequently because the codes come out periodically. We are going at a peak time in Dec. and got a great rate and I hope you can to!
Disney transportation can't be beat, especially during peak times, it takes away so much stress.
Good Luck and have a great trip!!!!:D

I have stayed at All-Star Movies and at the Holiday Inn Nikki Bird.
They were both great, honestly. The rooms were more substantial at Holiday Inn but the atmosphere at AllStar Movies more than makes up for that.
The one thing negative I will say about Holiday Inn is this. Transportation is ten times better on Disney property. We would have to really schedule our plans around the shuttle route schedule and twice the shuttle never arrived which really ate into our park time.

I would try to find a better rate on All Star Movies. Have you seen the last minute rates on waltdisneyworld.com? If you can stand not to have secure plans until the last minute you can get some good deals. I saw Port Orleans for $89 per night.
But I am sure you will have a ball whatever you choose.
