We (DH, DD-9, DS-12 and I) are adding a day to our short four night Sept trip to WDW for Food and Wine and need to book a room since DVC studios are full. Can you help us decide where to stay?

We have never stayed at an All Star resort or Coronado and would love your thoughts. Rest of our stay is at Beach Club

We would arrive at the resort around 7:45pm, and would be checking out next morning around 9am. Most important- decent place that doesn't cost a ton to hang out for the night, grab dinner and maybe swim a bit

Pros All Star- $66 cheaper, not under construction

Pros Coronado- Queen beds! Gets better food/pool reviews

So, Where would you stay for a short night?

Between those choices I would save the money also. The renovated rooms at Pop have queens beds also, is that resort not available?

With my feelings toward Disney resorts lately, I would probably stay offsite myself!

Honestly, I've stayed at both. I did my latest trip at Coronado and found it to be too large. Its got fantastic dining though (their Pepper Market was really great).

All Stars, you can't go wrong. They're just a room. Comfortable, they're cute and colorful, plus they've got pretty decent food courts as well. Honestly, for the time that you're there go with the All Star. Its not worth the span of the resort and finding your room at Coronado.
