I currently have booked a stay at all star movies for next year but currently looking at hotels around the Disney spring area as you can get a bit of a better room for around the same price. The only thing that is putting me off is the transportation. As the spring resorts Don’t seem to be as fluid as the Disney own hotels.

The ones I have been looking at are the Dury, Palace and possibly Holliday inn. Though all have stated they don’t have buses for special events which is a concern. For those who’ve stayed around this area what have your experiences been like? Or should I stay will movies?

Thanks for the help as always!

Never stayed at the Drury (it looks very nice!), or the Palace, but we stayed at the Holiday Inn a few years ago (pre-2020) and had a great experience. The staff was wonderful, the room very spacious, the pool was perfect for us, and all the spaces were clean and well maintained. We used the hotel's shuttle and didn't have any significant issues - the waits might have been a little longer for the hotel shuttle but not long enough that I have a negative memory. I think we walked up and back to Disney Springs once and used WDW buses to get there once or twice and then walked back to the Holiday Inn. Our family is typically an on-property family but this was a shorter stay added onto a Disney cruise only because I had enough IHG reward nights to make the hotel "almost" free. It was a positive enough experience that I'd pay to stay there if we were ever looking for off-property again.
