This is what I get for waiting too long. All 3 resorts are booked full in October till the 13'th.I wanted the 8'th,but not one room available.:sad2: Thats 2 months from now!!Thank you Potter Harry....

Now i gotta check daily for any cancellations.Wish me luck.

When we went in July I was told all resorts were full. You may remember that I started a thread asking if there was a way to check every day at once to see what was available, that was why. I ended up going to the website and checking every day 1 day at a time. Not only did I find openings I was able to compare prices (there could be a difference of over $200 from one day to the next) and book the days that gave us the cheapest rate. All that after I was told by Universal reservations that nothing was available.

Hey when are you doing HHN this year?Love to meet up again!!!

They have rooms, just not for a 1 night stay. I have found it hard to get a room for one night many times , but for 3 nights or more no problem.
Ex. Thurs 7th$134.00 aph
Fri. 8th $209.00
Sat. 9th $209.00
These are not availble seperately though.

This was for RPR.

That happened to us too on our trip this year in June during the opening week, I was booking another room for my DB and his group and they had on a minimum of 3 nights. I had to wait until about 2 weeks out when they released the rooms to book them and I was able to get it for the FL res rate too :)

My wife had some difficulty during our July trip and was just diagnosed with arthritis in one knee so for now we are taking a wait and see approach. I'd like to make it down for opening weekend and then again later in October to see the changes, just like last year. Maybe they will be giving away free tickets for AP holders again but I haven't heard of anything like that yet.

donald r u AAA? if not u can't check anyway as a guest on AAA website. when checking my rate the universal website showed sold out too @ all resorts (for 2nights 10/8 & 10/9) but when i checked my AAA site the lower priced type (pool view) was available & i switched things around yesterday.

maybe even a vacation pkg thru u website vs room only?

good luck, keep checking if the above doesn't work out:wizard:

I did'nt renew my AAA this year and can only afford 1 night stay due to the economy.I will keep checking the ressie site for a opening, hopefully we will get lucky. If not,DoubleTree it is.

Good luck, i'll keep my eye out when i periodically check my rates & if i see the one night pop up will let u know...hopefully, they'll allow single night bookings closer to the actual date (might even have rooms blocked for a convention that'd typically release a few weeks prior):wizard:
