I just want to say that maybe you should change the name of this thread. I saw the name of it and wanted some help on the quests, so I clicked on it, and all I see are people fighting in their posts, debating about something that is undebatable.
I only saw about two posts in this whole thread that had to do with helping hints for the quests. Maybe the people who have a disagreement with the topic can express their thoughts in a PM, but not in a thread making it off topic . Just a thought .

Actually this was not a thread to have the spoilers or Guides to be posted in it was a thread to let everyone know that since the beginning when this board got moderators that we had all agreed that spoilers, cheats, helps or guides were to be allowed. Like LoriR pointed out they already are posted on all the other VMK fan sites that we know about.

I will edit the title so to make that clearer. I changed my mind I am not going to edit because then some would think I added LoriR's name to the first post.

but i hate when youcrash your time keeps going it has happened to me 3 times so my time is really long

Which Quest? I have had this problem repeatedly and still can't get to #4 on 50th Mickey. I have quit quest and yet my time still runs. Why?

Actually this was not a thread to have the spoilers or Guides to be posted in it was a thread to let everyone know that since the beginning when this board got moderators that we had all agreed that spoilers, cheats, helps or guides were to be allowed. Like LoriR pointed out they already are posted on all the other VMK fan sites that we know about.

I think this thread was a good idea and reminder. I don't find anything wrong with the original post considering you simply stated the facts.

Well, I did the disney movie quest totally on my own. I did most of the diver quest on my own #1-13. I had help with #14, and did the last 2 task on my own. It took me right at 6 hours to complete. Without help from Hagan on #14, I would still be standing in the gotto staring at the treasures. I have cried and cussed up a storm today. I did NOT enjoy the quest in any shape or form. I don't even know if I will even try the others I'm so POed about the diver quest. If I do it will after the smarter people have played and posted the answers I can't sit here for 6 hours again.

I'm not online in vmk right now. I'm done for today. I'm just reading mail and cleaning.

People this is not a debate.Do not look at the thread if you dont like the decision.This is a family game and a family forum site.You do have a right of speech but it seems people need a little respect for everyone.Anyway you will all be laughing sooner or later about this.

It's always been my understanding that people generally go to forums to find people who share their common interests and to chat with them. With a game, this inevitably involves asking others for tips and help. Since this is a Disney and family game, I think a huge part of this game is about helping other people. Why do so many people want to be Community Leaders? Whether it's on the boards or in the game itself, people are constantly asking each other for help. If you don't want help in the game, you can easily choose to not enter a room with people. Go for the empty room and play every step of the way by yourself. In the same way, you can easily choose to not read a single "cheat" or "spoiler" post.

So when did things become such a contest? The only benefit to completing the quests quickly are a handful of credits. And you know that as soon as everyone's figured out the answers, the only ones who really care about being on the top five are just going to go back and race through it to get a faster time. Don't tell me the people who complete the quests in under 10 minutes were doing that on their first try, without knowing the answers beforehand (whether they figured it out on their own or by themselves). In the end, this is just a race of who has the faster computer processor. If you really want to be on top, go out and buy the top of the line computer available.

I personally love helping other people and don't mind having a hint or two tossed my way when I'm ready to tear my hair out in frustration. Frankly, it's more fun to play with friends. Misery loves company after all Running around this morning with a few friends definitely made the crazyness more bearable. If nothing else, having someone to talk to while you wait to log back in from a dc! And isn't the whole point of this game to have fun?

I have already sent a note to Mal but have decided to post here as well. My original post was in no way meant to flame Mal or the other Mods on this board. I will admit I do not like the spoilers being posted. I enjoy playing games on VMK with friends, helping them to get their invisible pin or helping them to complete the mickey quest. It is all about friendship for me, and posting the answers, to me, is just not as much fun or fulfilling as completing the quests myself or with the company of a few friends working together.

When I met with yavn tonight one of the first questions he asked me was, "Bell, did you post any cheats" I replied, "No yavn, did you not read about the trouble I got into because of my opinion" he said he had not and asked me again, if I had posted any cheats. When I said I had not, he smiled.

I understand that some of these quests are difficult and may take awhile to complete, but I really believe with the help of friends we can all complete them. Yavn also has a "Yavn Quest Help" room to answer any questions you may have to help you complete them.

Good luck all in your personal quest to complete the vmk quests!! Have fun, be patient and have a magical day in the kingdom.

I agree with you. I hate reading spoliers and enjoy just having fun! (That is why I won't read any of the spoliers on this board lol) That is also in part why I suggested earlier that people clarify whether it is a spoiler or not. (I like to read what people have to comment on the quests, but in no why do I want the answers. lol)
