Hi all you lucky people going in April! Were going in April next year
2003 and I was wondering if anyone got a good discount for this time of year and what were they. Thanks.:)

I'm going April20-25 and got AKL std. view for 139.00!!! I thought that was a good rate.

First piece of advice is to check out mousesavers.com. Mary's site is a wealth of information and between that and the DIS, I have saved thousands of dollars. (over my sister who booked a package for the same week; she's staying at PO-R).

You are smart to be thinking ahead, I started planning a year ago for our April vacation this year. Unfortunately, because it is peak season and vacation week, there have been no deep discounts for resorts except the Dolphin which we got at 50% off with our Disney Club Membership. We have booked two rooms for less than the price of one room at other deluxe resorts. Also, dining at S/D is 20% off with DC membership. An added DC bonus is the 800# they give you for resort bookings and dining, and believe me, I think I've gone through more than my $29 DC membership in phone bill savings alone booking, re-booking ressies! The Disney magazine that comes every month is a nice perk, too.

We booked a car rental (rate of $178 because we booked a year out, it is 280 now) through National (Emerald Aisle and DC membership). We are getting our park passes through Connections at a l0% (biggest discount for tickets). I don't know what I would have done without both the DIS and mousesavers; both sites have proven to be invaluable. Good luck in your planning.

We are going April 12-19 and we got a good rate, I think, for CBR using American Express. Tax included it is 121./night. We can't wait.

I got Wilderness Lodge woodsview for only $159, tax included. We are going 4/30-5/7/2002. I used the code CIF that is available to anyone.

I got ASMo for $69 + tax and CBR std for $99 + tax for April 6-13. This is with a state code that was out there for NC. I'm actually considering switching CBR to Doubltree Suites in DTD for $143 + tax AAA rate - ah but that's another post . . .

There is an annual pass rate that is about 30% off rack rates.

4/21 to 9/30
That alone could be enough savings to get an annual pass if you don't already have one.

I was offered (and reserved) a room at the AKL for $237/night - including taxes for a Savannah 4/12 - 4/21. The agent told me that it was being offered as an 'upsell rate.'

I also have a GV Concierge at the Poly for the same dates, and I'm thinking that I will stay at the Poly - Just more convient being on the monorail with 2 very young kids.

I got a WL standard room on the "Summer Basic" code for April 24-28 at $130/+tax. Also had a room on the North Carolina resident code at ASMo $69 for a little while for an earlier date. -HM

We are staying at the Boardwalk Inn for 10 nights, April 22-May 2. Our rate for a standard view is $219 per night and we got that using the code listed both here and on the Disney website. It was actually a bit better than using the AP rate. We intentionally waited til regular season to go because our last trip in April was during peak season with no discounts and also a couple of days were downright cold {first week in April}. My experinece has been that these codes and discounts ususally begin after this peak spring season ends.
