I'm glad you decided to give AK a try! It's definitely low on my favorite park list, but it's for sure a must-try. This is most likely because every time we have gone, it has been PACKED. That, on top of going in August heat, and a park with not much air conditioning=we have not had great experiences I'm hoping to give this park a real try on our Disneymoon in September when the crowds are a bit lower.

I LOVE 1900 Park Fare. Especially for breakfast. We went for the first time last year and had a blast! I'm also glad to hear good reviews about Yak and Yeti. The "good but not great" review seems to be the norm on the boards. Glad you tried it!

After lunch we decided it was safari time!
We walked right on- NO wait! SCORE!!! we also got our own row! DOUBLE SCORE!!

i adored this ride! we had so much fun on it! we both love animals and nature, so this was right up out alley!!!
we decided to go on a mickey hunt- NO luck!
will we ever find him?!?!?!

so our hunt for Mickey and Minnie continued!
Now, i normally do not go looking and decided it would be best to open up the map and see where mickey and minnie would be DUH!
so we go to where they say they are and NO luck Scott kept saying, no worries, we will meet them next time! I decided to ask another CM, who informed me where they would be and that the park is open later then the bus driver said! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I am not going to lie, i was a madwoman!
walking like mad! Scott was laughing at me SO much!
Oh well! lol
But then it happened!!!
We found them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can i just tell you this was BY FAR the MOST AMAZING experience i have EVER had with characters?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!? Along with CM's and PP!!!!
I just get so giddy even thinking about it! They spent SO much time with us!
They were shocked it was DH's First trip! They were even more excited that we were newlyweds!

After mickey, we went over to Minnie!
It was hysterical! After we told her we were newlyweds, she threw done scott's autograph book and went over to mickey making a fuss!

after this photo, she tried to steal scott away! she was too funny!

Then it was over to Goofy!
He gave me soo many goofy kisses! he put his paw over scott's eyes when he did this!

This was such a favorite part of this trip for me!!!
Scott was so excited too! Just like a kid again!!!! I felt so much pixie dust today! it was amazing!
I think we literally skipped out of animal kingdom before heading on over to the BW!

Hey everyone!!!
I am so sorry I haven't been updating that much!
I appreciate everyone's well wishes! We still need them, so thank you!!! <3

I can't believe tomorrow is our 1 year anniversary!!!! It really does go by sooo quickly!
I hope everyone is safe during hurricane sandy! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!!!
Due to Sandy, we had to move our trip around a bit But thankfully, we were able to make it work! And hopefully we still get out this week!!! jetBlue and DVC were amazing to work with! VERY long wait times, but the customer service and quickness to get us to our destination was great!

So with that, let me get this TR finished! I plan to combine two trips on the next one, so please stay tuned!!!

So after our very fun day at AK, we went over to the BW! We walked around and went into some of the shops! Hubby LOVED this area! We checked into our Kouzzina ressie a little early. Shortly after, we were seated!
We ordered some drinks

pomegranate something or other- really yummy!!!
Apps were next!

this was delish! Its pita bread with different dips and spreads! LOVED it!

delish greek salad!!!
Then our meals...

Neither of us were really in love with our main dishes. Not sure what it was. I felt this way earlier in the year when i went with my family. The apps and drinks were delish! We were also next to a couple that were sick and uncomfortably close to us! She was sneezing and coughing like crazy. We didn't have dessert here, we just want to leave. We went to the bakery next door and had some goodies! I do not have pictures of this.

we went back to the room to finish packing! I took some last minute pictures!

we loved this room!!!

We were up VERY early the next morning for our quick flight over to mexico!

So I thought I would share some pictures of the 2nd part of our honeymoon!
We stayed at the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Playa Mujeres

So overall, we loved the hotel! Very romantic ambiance and the staff were amazing!
The food was good for some meals, great for others.
We were apart of the Excellence Club and I feel that we discovered certain areas and perks during our time there, and I really wish they would have told us them during check in.
Also the pool water was beyond FREEZING! We barely went in the pool, actually, all throughout the trip, the pools were EMPTY!

I can't believe it's here! The last post!
Thank you so much for following me along! For your sweet words and for your well wishes! And for your patience as I worked on this!

We loved our time in WDW and in Mexico! Each trip had it's own special moments! I think, if i had to make a change, I would have stayed in disney longer and mexico a little shorter!! Other than that, it was the perfect trip for us!
