All of our VGC stays - 6/2024, 12/2025, 6/2026

We've all gotten our flu shots. We wash our hands constantly. The trickiest part is our son being neurodivergent....he likes to chew on his fingers. So when he's at school or out in public spaces...he's getting all the germs. Ugh. So just crossing our fingers and toes for the next 20 days!

Two weeks out and the forecast is starting to show up on weather.com. Looking like highs might only be in the 60s....possibly lower 60s. And lows in the 40s. If that's the case for the entire trip, we'll be leaving our swimsuits at home this time. At home, I often wear shorts with those temps so I'll probably want those during the day and pants at night. Kind of a pain to have to pack so much but that's life. No washer/dryer this time but looking forward to having one for our trip next June!

I'm also debating how many nights we should stay next June. I booked 7 even though we probably only want 6. But I keep contemplating keeping that 7th night. When we drive, it's basically 6 days of driving and 5 days in the park. It would be nice to have a 6th day in CA so it doesn't feel like more time is spent on the road. If Disneyland offered a 6-day hopper, it would be a no-brainer. But it's too expensive to buy a 5-day and a 1-day, though we have done it before. However, a "break" day to sleep in, swim, do laundry, and maybe visit our wedding chapel might be nice too. I'll just have to keep thinking about it.

It’s a long drive, I’d stay the extra day. Do any resort stuff you might not normally do and browse DTD etc.

We're on the fence about it because our son is so routine based that he might meltdown if we don't go into the park every single day. But we may end up taking 1 day this trip super slowly with more of a "break" feel with walking DTD and checking out VDH. So we'll see how he handles that.

Normally, we get up...go down to breakfast and then head to the parks. So I'm curious to see how he handles it if we decide to visit VDH before parks one day.
