We made a special trip to WDW just to ride this when it first opened. My DW almost needed the "barf" bag. She has only done the ride one time and refuses to do so again.

And this would be the Florida sky you don't want to see....we learned the hard way it means you only have 2.3 seconds to seek shelter!

I, myself, love all rides, the bigger,faster, the better
That said, Mission Space is confining to say the least
I could do without it, I am not a fan of small spaces

One thing that just popped into my head that I've noticed while in dark attractions, is that the "auto focus assist light" can be almost as distracting as a flash. Did you make sure you had that turned off? Just curious. I would think that the assist light on some of today's dSLRs would be distracting enough, especially if you were sitting close, to make the CM make an announcement.

Sorry for going off topic guys, but this is important stuff!

Nope, the flash was down...

I'm getting a lot of responses to my post, but I'm telling you guys the truth. It bewildered me too...that's why I came right out and asked Jeff if he had ever experienced the same situation...

I have seen a lot if inconsistency on various rides and shows over no photography vs. no flash photography- several having conflicting recorded vs. live messages and enforcement. Nemo, American Adventure, and the Rock n' Roller Coaster come to mind off the top of my head. No idea why. There was a thread on all this a while back on the Photography Board.
