That's what I thought! Made me a little uneasy, too... Security certainly was highly visable in all parks last week. Added to the fact that EVERYONE is being watched ALL THE TIME in the parks by cameras...

That's what I thought! Made me a little uneasy, too... Security certainly was highly visable in all parks last week. Added to the fact that EVERYONE is being watched ALL THE TIME in the parks by cameras...

Hummm...thanks for the info...I'll need to prepare my impatient DH for the longer security lines.

Funny but true story: We went to MK one day about 1 pm. Of course no lines at the bag search table.. whizzed thru that. Then comes a security Guard who says politely "You have been randomly selected to go thru the metal detector"... not a problem but I looked around and said, "Random??!!?? I'm the only guest here!!" I think he was just a little bored. You just have to take all metal - keys, ph, coins, pins off and put them in a bowl and walk thru - just like at the airport. No biggie. All in all with the security everywhere, it still went fast enough. Everyone is spooked about everything these days.

Agree and personally, I don't mind...better safe than sorry. I'm really going to have to "tone down" my "extras" in my handbag from now on though. I'm the "designated go to Mimi" for everyone...if they need a safety pin~I have it; paper clip~I have it; cloth to clean glasses~I have it; extra batteries~I have them...guess that business is gonna have to stop!

EXCEPT... When you go to HS. There are Jawas at the Launch Bay who trade small knick-knacks with you.. I traded a hinge type paper clip for a truly awesome red plastic 'gem'!
