Just for the record I was standing across the lagoon and used full zoom on my Fuji S700 to get the shot. Oh and a little bit of cropping as well.

i don't know where the photographer was standing when he/she took it, but that's the italy pavilion at epcot world showcase.

Looks like he was across the World Showcase Lagoon, probably standing at the shore in the Showcase Plaza area between the two shops. Excellent use of telephoto!
