Gotta love the Florida sunsets!

But, my family and I all miss Mickey's Glove and Wand SOOO much!

We're a fan of the wand too...to tell you the truth I didn't even notice the wand until I had our pictures developed from our very first trip. :lmao:

I had a hard time photographing this tiger... With the zoom all the way on the tele end, I just couldn't seem to get the lens to work fast enough getting enough light. That's why there's noise and it's slightly blurry... I took a bunch and this was the best one...

Joe- I think you did a GREAT job catching the moving tiger, and the fact you captured such an interesting, colorful background, really make your picture stand out!

Oh nooooo- NAS strikes again! Sounds like it's time to think about an f/2.8 lens...:scared1:

Good job!

wish I had gotten this shot at night

GREAT capture- really nice detail!
It is my understanding that Leota (now deceased- really) was one of the original Imagineers who designed the Haunted Mansion! Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong!

Leota did work on the Haunted Mansion. In fact, all the tombstones in the waiting area are tributes to the Imagineers who worked on the attraction.

I'll follow the tiger theme. Here's another of mine - with moving tiger...on my point and snap camera.

It's been so long since I posted on this thread!!! But I just uploaded my pics and posted this one on the thread discussing effects of the margaritas from Mexico...So I thought I'd start off my rejoining of the POTD thread with this pic. As always, I like to give a little explaination. As I said, I was about two margaritas deep, we were walking by the store near the International Gateway and before I knew it, Chip was pushing this stroller at me! His CM friend said, "I think he wants you to get in it, but you don't have to." I was like, "Oh, of course I'll get in!" Ah, the joys of drinking in Epcot!

Welcome back Nikki!! Always love your stories and pics. Please keep them coming. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

The lens was the 1st lens I purchased when I got my DSLR, and it was my only lens for the first 5 months I had the camera. It got me some VERY good pictures, and it was a nice walk-around lens. My only issues with it were it was very loose, and didn't have a lock on it so I'd catch myself walking around with the lens extended. Then after using and abusing it for 5 or six months, the AF went haywire. I haven't heard of anyone else having the problem with the AF, so I think I just got a dud lens. For the price, I'd say it's very much worth it.

I agree, fantastic capture- the colors are stunning!
If I may also ask- do you recall the f-stop and shutter speed and focal length you were using for this picture, and were you in Manual, Aperture-priority or Shutter-priority mode (can't see the Exif info. on your picture)? Just curious, as I would love to be able to try and duplicate your results in a future shot taken at night in teh park!
Thanks,
Alan

°O°Joe - I know this one is from a few days ago, but it's just so that great I had to comment! Seriously, if you had said it was a painting, I would have believed you! Fantastic! :thumbsup2 :wizard:

SC Mouse Fan - Nice in-motion shot of the Lights Motors Action explosion!

ziggybaby - Love this Main Street pic! The soft glow gives the shot a nice, kind of back-in-time feel.

Cdn Friends of Pooh - Nice shot of Mickey & Pluto! ::MickeyMo :pluto:

I'm about 15 pages behind :rolleyes1

Late Friday PotD
