My acting debut!

Just out of curiosity was this picture taken on August 14, 2007???...You look like the characters added to the scene when we watched....
FWIW, here's what it looks like with a 50mm lens. This is actually Disneyland's version but I believe that the distances are identical though lighting may be slightly different.I have tried and tried to get that shot with my 50mm 1.8 with no luck! I might have to pick up a 30mm before my next trip!

That was taken with my 50mm F1.4 at F1.8, ISO 3200, 1/30th second. You can see how it's a tricky shot! I will probably try a little ISO 6400 next trip with the new camera, and use my 31mm F1.8 lens.
I would guess that Gdad's shot was ISO 3200 at least...?
My understanding is that there's never supposed to be a hidden Mickey there. The Imagineers don't like it as it's too obvious and distracting, and "fix" it whenever they walk through, back to the locations in the original design. Later, someone (custodial crew? dunno) puts the Mickey back.I don't know if you noticed but this HM's "Hidden Mickey" plates are further down the table than at WDW.

So we were told on the Keys to the Kingdom tour, at least.
FWIW, my memory is that they were in a similar place on the WDW ride, perhaps it was moved down further left when Gdad took his photo... or maybe my memory is failing. It has been over a year since I've been there - too long!![]()
Thank you! Thanks. It took me a while to realize what the shadow was. I really like your picture of the pink castle. I need to go back to WDW so I can practice night shots.
I've heard that as well. Not an official Hidden Mickey when there was such a thing. A couple years ago I rode once in the middle of the day and the Mickey plates were there. I wanted to show my BiL because he had never seen it, so we rode again later that night and the Mickey plates weren't arranged as a Mickey head anymore. You know, some Cast Members swear up and down they've seen real ghosts in there! My understanding is that there's never supposed to be a hidden Mickey there. It's been at the end of the table at WDW for as long as I remember seeing it...FWIW, my memory is that they were in a similar place on the WDW ride, perhaps it was moved down further left when Gdad took his photo... or maybe my memory is failing.
