Kathy - Thanks for the happy nostalgic (unfortunately!) ride picture.
I am sad for people who missed the greatness of the old
ride. It was always one of my favorites.
I wish they would have the Museum of Retired Rides. Imagine - a
special world for Horizons, Mr. Toad, Cranium Command, World
of Motion, Dreamfinder and Figment together again...

Evad - Lovely elephant capture.

And speaking of Imagination! Thanks pugcrazy -
I notice the beautiful colors more in the pictures than when I am there.

joe - Great swoopy Monorail! and I

also loved the orange creamsickle fireworks sky!

Gdad - what a serene mood shot of the Animal Kingdom! It made me want to be right there.

Alacrity - I love this fun close-up!

Quiltymom - Beautiful Country Bear!

And another great close-up from Brack!

Thanks, Lifelong Dreamer, for another lovely close-in moment.

wdwensel - Thanks for a great fireworks finish!

Haven't posted for a few days- missed all your wonderful pictures!
In the spirit of the "Living with the Land" shots posted over this past weekend, my Monday POTD. "Earning its Ears" (Just like me!):

One more for the birds.

Now this isn't a fantastic shot, but there's a story behind it. Saturday was my last day as a Tomorrowland CM before I transfer over to DHS. I was working at one of the attractions (I won't say which one. You'll understand why in a moment) and I noticed a lot of "bird activity" in one of the concrete planters near the attraction. I went over to investigate and saw this momma duck with her nest and three eggs. Yep, WDW is having some more babies. The nest is pretty well hidden so there shouldn't be too much trouble about guests bothering the nest. I almost got bit just for pushing the branches aside to look.

Lucky duck! I've often said if there is anything like reincarnation, I want to come back as a duck at Disney. Maybe one that greets the guests as they descend from the buses at MK. They are sooooo friendly there.

Or one that gets to swim in the moat at the castle.

Good Morning everyone!

A frigid day at the MK. The TTA is NOT as enjoyable in the cold!
