One more for the birds.

Now this isn't a fantastic shot, but there's a story behind it. Saturday was my last day as a Tomorrowland CM before I transfer over to DHS. I was working at one of the attractions (I won't say which one. You'll understand why in a moment) and I noticed a lot of "bird activity" in one of the concrete planters near the attraction. I went over to investigate and saw this momma duck with her nest and three eggs. Yep, WDW is having some more babies. The nest is pretty well hidden so there shouldn't be too much trouble about guests bothering the nest. I almost got bit just for pushing the branches aside to look.

We've seen some Disney birds so how about some Disney flowers?

This one is from the MK ...... in December!

Once again, everyone's photos are great. I just love getting my daily dose of the POTD!

Thank you! It was one of the few night shots that turned out!

quiltymom[/B], nice one - I love the Country Bears...

Thanks. I'm so glad that they still have Country Bears at the MK. I miss it so much at Disneyland. I know that a lot of people think it's hokey, but then I love hokey ... :rotfl:

I just found this one from my trip in October on my computer last night. For some reason I hadn't processed it or uploaded it to my photo storage site.

Beautiful shot!! I'm gonna have to get some shots from that angle!

Me and Stitch :) So I guess this is actually DH's picture of the day.

Will her babies have official Disney citizenship then? :rolleyes1 ;) Great picture and story!

DB is just one big teddy bear with one weakness for Indy!

Now that's what Disney is all about. :) You don't get any happier than that, great picture.

I was taking a pic of the balloons at DHS 2 weeks ago and the CM selling the balloons asked my daughter of she would like to hold them for a picture. She was a little scared, like she would be lifted up by the balloons!

That's cool that the CM let her hold the balloons! Great picture and I'm glad she stayed on the ground ;)

J.C.&ALI'SMOM.....Great picture of a ride you don't see pics of often.

J.C.&ALI'SMOM, great shot of the "Mine, mine, mine" seagulls outside the Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion. There's so much that's great about this shot - you got them with their mouths open, the waves splashing, monorail and Spaceship Earth in the background...! Awesome shot and great timing :thumbsup2

Thanks to both of you for the kind comments!!

pugcrazy, nice perspective on the Universe of Enegry shot... did you have to shimmie up the palm tree to get that picture or what?? Great shot!

Caught it out the window of the Monorail as it passes through Epcot. I just "rediscovered" all the shots that I took on that pass through (new monitor really makes a difference...) and decided to post some of them.
