All My Children - What type of cancer does JR have??

So I used to watch AMC years ago and still tune in when I am home, I have noticed that JR has cancer and I am wondering what kind it is?? I have tried searching but I am not coming up with anything. TIA!!!!

I thought that they said it was a rare form of lymphoma but I could be wrong.
