Can anyone give me a quick update of what happened today?? Here in Chicago we got about 15 minutes into it and then they pre-empted for the noon gathering to celebrate Chicago being selected for Olympic consideration.

I'm in ROckford and they cut into us for info on the shooting. so i need some info too!

I only saw Zoe tell bIanca he was leaving, Colby left home and Adam told her to he had no daughter, Alexander Cambias is acting like a loon to get off on insanity, Ava and Lily meet and chat, Babe tells JR that he lawayers are wondering why his lawyers are stalling the divorce, Tad wants Krystal to move in...what did i miss?

I haven't watched today's episode yet so I can't help with that but I have a question:

Tad wants Krystal to move in...

Move in where? His house burned down.

When Adam and Tad got into the other day and Adam kept telling Tad to go home I was wondering why Tad didn't say, "What home? You burned it down!"

I was in the playroom, so i was just listening at this point, so someone PLEASE correct me if i'm wrong.

But i believe he was talking with his architect/contractor/builder person and he told Krystal that it would be so easy to build them some room for her and the baby....something like that

Yeah - he told Krystal that he would build an addition or something for her & Jenny.

I'll always be a devoted fan of AMC, HOWEVER ..
there's a couple of things that drives me CRAZY!

1. Any home meal is eaten hunched over a coffee
table in the living room. I guess NO ONE has a
kitchen table or dining room table ??

2. No gift is truly wrapped. Not even a kid gets
to rip off wrapping.

that's true! i wouldn't be surprised if suddenly little jenny was the same age as Kate & Ryans daughter and they are all best friends living together!

Is anyone else jsut bored with ALL of the soaps? Thank goodness for SoapNet and the soap mags, I don't feel compelled to sit in front of the tv all day! I'm tired of all of it, the Satin Slayer stuff drug out too long, now we will have annoying nuGreenlee to deal with in addition to Hannah, and Ava. Argh! I also agree with a PP about eating on the coffee table and easy wrap gifts! I have to explain to my kids that real people don't live that way, you have to occasionally clean your kitchen, cook a meal (and get stuff on your clothes), toilets don't scrub themselves (notice how no one cleans a bathroom on tv?) and laundry won't wash, dry and put itself away (as much as I'd love for it to happen). People don't just "give" you a $50K loan that never has to be repaid, and you don't start college in September and finish medical school/law school/get your MBA in three months!

I agree, my girls are so bad that when their bathroom (especially the toilet) gets bad they just come downstairs and trash our two bathrooms on this level. All they have to do is FLUSH occasionally. My youngest is awful, will let a towel sit wet until it sours then complain that the towel stinks, well, if you had HUNG IT UP when you used it it wouldn't smell bad! Oldest pulled a muscle in her back yesterday playing basketball. Whined around till I let her get in my jacuzzi tub. SHe's 11, almost 12, old enough to know what happens when you put liquid soap in a jetted tub. Well, guess what, she had enough bubbles to keep Lawrence Welk in business for 100 years! Then, does she rinse the tub out afterwards? No, I had to scrub it out last night, I had been nice and put some of my B&BW aromatherapy bath salts in the tub for her, all the little pieces of lavendar were clinging to the walls of the tub. ARGH! Now I know how WINNIFRED feels!

Adam kidnaps baby Jenny and gives her to JANET FROM ANOTHER PLANET. That is the lowest Adam has ever sunk. How are they going to get that baby back from that psycho? Even Stuart won't be able to deal with that.

Well, I don't know how much realism I want on my soap. I watch for escapism. Watching Kendall scrub a toilet ain't exactly my idea of entertainment.

My DH made a good point when I told him what I just posted. He said they don't have to scrub toilets because no one ever uses the bathroom.

Well, they usually just use the ones at the Valley Inn or some other restaurant, but all they do is brush their hair in it or get in an agrument with someone else.

Of course, because they only use those bathrooms they don't have to clean them anyway!
