I love this thread ! You guys are all so funny ! MY DH and I have always watched this soap over dinner.

We all think alike. Jamie in a lab coat and with a chart ???? That was too funny ! It would have been great if Kelly was also on with Regis. They could have done a lot of great puns with that.

I remember many years ago ...... Haley looked at Adam and said: " You look like the cat that swallowed a canary ". That pun was so funny that I had to play it over and over!

I didn't care for the "New Beginnings" show, but I kept it on. Our dinner was done, and my DH was so disgusted with the " New Beginnings " part that he left the room and went to watch the game on the other TV.

YES, Me and Mickey's Sunshine(Christine) will be attending our 3rd trip together! This will be my 7th time at SSW! I can hardly wait, as this is the 10th year it has been held, and I am hoping to see Sonny (Maurice Bernard) from General Hospital! I think I would totally "tingle" into oblivian if I saw HIM in person! Keep in touch with this thread, as Christine and I will be setting up a DIS meet at SSW as we have in the past!

I haven't seen AMC for awhile. I turned it on today and I was like, What the heck is this? What is with the New Beginnings show. I didn't like it. Hope it is gone soon.

Thats nice of them, tell them to get there EARLY! Christine got "Ryans" auto last year, she waited in line while I bought the "souvenier" stuff for SSW! Just a short tip: If you know where "Star Tours" is, go over there and you will see a crowd of about 60 people, me included, this is where the soap stars come thru to go to their Autograph sessions, you can get LOTS of Pics!

Just popping in to say hello again.

I am glad to see I was not the only one disappointed with the entire show being New Beginnings. I would have rather have seen more of the soap.

Speaking of Super Soap, I went to the first 2, then skipped 2 years (dates just weren't good for me) then did a couple of more years.

I'm looking forward to doing a few more, but won't make it this year because we are cruising the week before and have to head home the weekend before SSW.

Well there's always next year.

Aiden had been meeting with Kristen Wood ( I believe that was her name) at SOS, Amanda was rude and she got up and left. I guess she has something to do with this whole Julia thing.
Anyways, after being mean to Aiden, Amanda left out the alley way and saw Kristen dead in the trash heap. Thats when she screamed.
Why are they always in trash heaps by the way??

Amanda is such a waste of space. Aside from her being the one who found Kristen on the trash heap, what was the purpose of her stupid scenes with Aidan? Just to flaunt in his face that she is "with" Jamie, now??? Not that he even cares, or anything! Isn't she supposed to be taking classes at PVU? Aside from her trying to "study anatomy" with Jamie, a long time ago, we've never seen her going to a single class or doing any homework!

Speaking of which, did SORAS miraculously affect Danielle, before our eyes? She never talks about high school any more, or identifies with "high school things" like protecting Lily from the bullies, etc. - all she talks about is how busy she is at Fusion - so now she is a big, sophisticated career woman.......but Reggie is still in high school??? Maybe they will tell us that he was drafted into the NBA, after his basketball tournament last week, and that will account for "SORAS"'ing him, to catch up with her!

Welcome, Mickey&Co.!

There is no connection between Kristen, Aidan, and Amanda. In fact, Friday's episode was the one and only time that we've ever seen or heard of Kristen! Presumably, she was a witness or someone "in the know", concerning Julia Santos' situation and who is "after" her. Right after we saw her for those 2 seconds with Aidan, she disappeared. It was never explicitly stated who she was or what her connection to Julia's enemies are. Amanda was just hanging around, trying to flirt with Aidan, and assumed that Kristen was her "comptetition". She's the one who eventually discovered Kristen's body - and that's all we know, at this point!

Erin calls Greenlee on Ryan's behalf.

Di refuses to give Tad the letter.

After a wild night of drunken stupor, Krystal and Adam are horrified to find they have married one another.

Livia believes Danielle's claims about Garrett.

Babe continues to play games with JR.

Mimi marries Garrett with almost no one in attendance.

Di goes to Garrett for a favor.

Julia accuses Di of betrayal.

Zach faces off with Tad over Di.

Adam and Krystal get the proof they dread.

I was thinking the same thing. Now Dani is all grown up with a new career and hair style etc... She acts a lot older than she did a few months ago while in "high school". I also picked up when Jack said Lily being a 17 yr old. I swore she just started High School last year. Oh well. You know the kids in Pine Valley grow up so quickly. Next thing ya know Pete Cortland will be dating Kendall.

Ok we know Garrett is the Dragon but what's with the creeping on Dani. And maybe I'm old fashioned but why is Dani always in revealing outfits, she's supposed to be a teen, dress like a teen. Not saying she's deserves being creeped out, but I'm not liking what they are doing to her charactor.
