We just got back from the Boston Womens show where we met Cameron Mathison. He was really sweet and funny. I hope his feelings were not hurt because only about 20 people showed up and he came off the stage and did questions and answers,photos and autographs. DD wants to be an actress and he spent a while talking with her about it.He asked who people wanted his character with and confirmed that Greenlee will not be back and Vincent Irzarry is leaving and Eden Reigal is coming back. He hinted at who killed Dr.Madden but wouldnt say. The guesses were Tad,Dixie,Zak,David, Jameie,JR and he said that one of them was the right answer. He was also talking about Super Soap and who is planning to be there. He is a definite.

OK, that is some good eye candy! IF I can get thru the crowds.......

Just wanted to pop in quickly and say hi to everyone. I have to watch my DVR'd AMC episodes from Thursday and Friday before I read any recent posts. Wouldn't want to spoil all that suspense for myself.

Huh? I thought Bobbie Eakes had been married for 15 years or so.

ETA: Okay. I just went and checked on imdb.com and it states that she married David Steen on July 4, 1992.

Bobbie Eakes on imdb.com (click on "show more" under Trivia). I believe the first picture in the Photo Gallery is of her and her husband earlier this year at the Daytime Emmy Awards.

Please tell me this info is not outdated. Everytime I've heard her speak about her husband she seems so in love.

I hadn't heard VI is leaving. If true, I would think that points to David as the murderer.

I've kind of gotten the cruise bug so we've been doing that instead of WDW the last couple of years. One of these years I'll get back for SSW. But it won't be next year. We're doing a Mediterranean cruise in Oct 07. We did have fun, didn't we?!

Sorry I don't peek in more often. I'm usually so far behind on the soap I don't like to see what is being posted and anything I had to contribute would be old news.

Oh, and to keep this "on topic" (LOL!) I still loathe Ditsie and wish she would slither off into oblivion and then maybe Tad could get back to being his funny, lovable self. He certainly hasn't been either lately.

I WAS THERE...I WAS THERE!!! And first can I say I was SHOCKED at the incredibly LOW turnout for this SHOW. I expected this show to be packed. And not just for Cameron, but the whole place I felt was basically EMPTY for the city of Boston and at the SEAPORT WTC!! And the weather was not great, so I figured more ladies would have gone. And I will second BIG TIME Cameron. He was simply the nicest and sweetest young man for as big a celebrity as he is...at one point he was just walking around to all the booths and then I saw him at the one where they were giving like 10 minute massages.

He is a genuine hunk and real life doll

p.s. Did you see Meredith Baxter (Birney)...she was just as easy going as Cameron. Selling her lotions and potions and speaking candidly to everyone. Helping them with all their purchases. And much of her proceeds goes to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research.

Two great celebrities and NO BIG entourage following them around. Actually, the first time I saw Cameron he was just simply leaning against a post like he was looking for someone and I am standing there saying to myself "is that RYAN?" and sure enough it was. Simply dressed in a pair of jeans, white dress shirt...that was it. Nothing fancy at all. Real low key!!!

When i saw Cameron in the yacht club lobby at SSW in 2004, it was like accidentally walking onto a soap set. I heard him first, that raspy voice of his. I said, that sounds like RYAN! i turned around and there he was casually sitting sideways in the chair, leg flung over the side, sandals on. Everywhere i looked, was a soap celeb. We finished loading our car and i SWORE i'd get the nerve to walk up to him but of course i chilled again as soon as i saw him. Then we went back up to the room to get more stuff (too cheap to get bell services, lol), then on the way out, ran into TAD in the hallway right outside our door! he wasn't quite as nice. had the look like, oh my please don't recognize me. he's lucky i'm too chicken to say anything! On the second trip thru the lobby, ryan was already talking with another fan like he knew her. she was gushing and he was posing, such a doll. I am kicking myself TO THIS DAY for not saying something. to top it off, when he's on TV, my husband says, isn't that the one you were too afraid to say anything to!
