Nobody in Pine Valley cares. They just know there are only two lawyers in the whole town and I think just about every character on the show has been represented by one or the other at least once.
Sad about David Hayward's demise - I love his character. I mean, I hate him and I love him - but that's what makes a soap character good. I guess Jamal leaving before I become too attached is a good thing - go back to your Left Coast and leave us lowly Easterners alone.

Fashion faux pas of the day - Amanda. WTH was she wearing???!!! My daughter was trying to determine if it was the pattern or the cut of the dress that made it look so hideous - I say it was the whole darned thing - looked like something my grandma used to wear to hang laundry outside.
And Babe is going to sleep with Josh because JR told her she couldn't go on a Colby hunt? Good reason.
