Is it just me, or was yesterday's episode super sappy on purpose - because it was 9/11?

I mean, all that goo was making me a little sick. I'm all for 9/11 tributes, but making ONE sappy episode of a soap opera isn't my idea of a tribute anyway - they should have just had the Ryan shooting thing on - everyone needs a little escapism on a dark day.

And the Erica/Spike/Dog comment was good stuff!

We said the same thing about them bumping off Spike during yesterday's episode. Kendall was saying stuff like she couldn't take it if something bad happened to Spike etc. Plus they haven't given him a real name.

And also, I'll bring Kendall a order of seasoned fries-- super sized. Anybody up for bring a choc shake???

I thought from the beginning that they wouldn't bog Kendall down with a child. Maybe he'll die. Maybe he'll be kidnapped and re-appear as a 20 year old CEO in 5 years. I guess he could simply be missing for months at a time like Little A, but I never saw Kendall as a character with a child. Did you guys see that scene with him and JR? They are drugging that kid. He looks stoned.

Then there was the whole "I'll die without Spike" thing. Bianca is coming back - there must be a reason and Spike's untimely demise would be a good reason. So far, there hasn't been talk of an actor leaving.....unless you count the rumors about Thorsten Kaye a few months back. His contract was up this summer, so I guess it could be him. That would STINK.

Supposedly, the answer is this week's ABC Soaps in Depth. But, I'm home and at least 30 minutes away from the nearest store that sells it!

I don't think it's Ryan. I think if Cameron Matheson was leaving, it would have been announced already. I HOPE the same is true for Thorsten Kaye!

The commercials say that Ryan gets shot and Kendall is heart-broken. I think that Annie shoots him on accident thinking it is her ex. They also say it will change AMC forever--that unfortunately sounds like a major character to me. I hope I am wrong!

Jonathon finally got "his groove on"! Its about time! I am so happy for him....and there he goes running after Lily who he CAN'T have a "groove on" with. Whatever, boy was he HOT!!!! YUM YUM! I hope he is at SSW this year, I may have to get a Pic and Auto from him.....

Got the latest Soaps in Depth right here and it says that Ryan is shot, but survives. Whew! I have read most of it and it doesn't say anything about anyone dying on AMC, but on OLTL John does, if anyone cares! I don't think I am missing anything, but I will update you if I do read something.

Ok, I stand corrected. I thought Sidney was way too pretty to look like Sarah Michelle Geller, but by golly, looking at Sidney, I now actually do see the resemblence (sorry, Sidney).

I agree with Allie. I never thought AMC had Kendall pegged as a mommy. I never thought they'd bog her down or Greenlee, for that matter. Hehe.. looks like Greenlee got out of dodge before anyone could say, "hey, isn't that spit up on your $500 sweater?" Yep, I think you have something there, Allie. I think Spike's days are numbered. Maybe that's why they are keeping the name. They might not have to worry about dog-child that long after all.

I think they'll just kill off Terry (he's irredeemably evil), but I thought I read Thorsten wanted to leave soon too. Maybe that's why he won't tell Kendall anything...the writers are still trying to figure out an exit for him!

Did anyone see the recent interview with Alicia Minshew (either in SOD or ABC Soaps-yes, I read both, yes, I need a life!). She made a big deal about her boyfriend owning a restaurant and how she's always there eating cheeseburgers. Uh-huh, and putting them where exactly? She always looks painfully thin and cold. I just want to put a sweater on her!

I love Alicia but there is no way she's eating hamburgers on a regular basis, unless they are all she eats for the week. I don't mean to sound mean but again I have to say it's so distracting to watch these thin actress.

This whole Terry storyline is completely creeping me out I kept changing the channel everytime he and Lily came on screen.
