Former Star Dead at 27

Former All My Children star Philip Amelio (ex-Scott Chandler) has died at the age of 27. Amelio, who appeared on AMC from 1998 to 1991, suffered from an "internal infection." Amelio started out in television at an early age. By the age of 4, he was already appeared in commercials. More recently, Amelio left acting to pursue another worthwhile endeavor: he was a teacher in Delanson, New York.

Yes, it is the first one, the little one with curly hair that was on at the time Cindy died. Very sad for someone to die so young.

I am not sure why that website keeps dropping the pictures but here is a link to the page with a bunch of children who starred on AMC. He is there in the middle of the page. Looks like he starred on a short lived show with Lucille Ball before he was on AMC. Hopefully this will work...

Maybe I missed it, but did Di and David discuss how they would explain that she looks so different with a different personality and voice? I know, minor details in the soap world!

David told her that they'd use the car accident as an excuse for "extensive plastic surgery". The funny thing was that he said "See that scar?" Well, duh! If someone had that much plastic surgery, wouldn't they have gotten rid of that scar?!?!?

They never addressed the issue of the voice. I think we're suppposed to just assume no one else would notice - because obviously the viewers won't because we must be dumb.

Question - Did David arrange for someone to make the call to Tad telling him Dixie's body was never found? Or was that an independent phone call?

A few nights ago, we were watching ABC and they showed some previews for all of the ABC Daytime dramas and the stories coming up this month. They showed Di with blonde hair saying "Hi, I'm Dixie!", and even though I looked at the screen very quickly, she DID kinda look like Dixie! Her voice is different, but her intonations are at least somewhat similar to Cady McClain's. I don't know what the heck is going on - at first, I was convinced that Di was really Dixie, pretending that she didn't remember, for some reason. Now I'm thinking that Di really IS a separate person with no connection to Dixie. In the mean time, though, does David really think that Di can just skip town, after JR allows Babe to see Little Adam, more? Does David really think that Tad wouldn't follow Dixie to the end of the earth before letting her go, again? Much less JR, himself?

When Ryan was apologizing to Maria, yesterday, and she was saying "it's OK", I almost expected her to say "it's OK. Edmund was a jerk, anyway. I just realized that I've always been in love with Zach, anyway......."

Yes well, I guess we'll have to pin all our love story hopes on Erica and Jack again.

And won't the people who already know who Di is (Tad, Krystal and anyone else who visited at the jail) pick up on the fact that it's her? Or are we to simply believe that the Miss Clairol will fool them?

You know I was just thinking that, where is all the humor? Opal, Erica doing there thing, Tad with the one liners. Though I am intrigued by the Kendall and Zach pairing. Oh and what I want to know is isn't someone gonna ask for a DNA test on Di? That black wig reminds of the one Haley used to wear when she was first on all those years ago. I am really glad though that Brooke is still on a front burner story line and now with the Phoebie tribute coming up. It's just nice that the whole show isn't devoted to the younger actors. Done preaching going to bed now.
