Not as irritating as his sister! She has been totally rude to Maria, ever since she came back on the show. Maria needs to give them both a good lecture about respecting others - especially their own mother! At least Sam was kind with Lily - that's one redeeming quality, anyway!

Lily did live in PV for awhile, with Laurel and Jack. When she was about 7 or 8 she was sent away to her school (presumably somewhere outside of PV because Jack always needed to take a trip to travel to it) and we didn't see her again until 2 or 3 years ago

One of the actresses who had played Lily in the past is now playing Marissa on The O.C. in case anyone watches that show. Just an interesting peice of trivial information.. Anything is better than the show lately. How many hours are we going to get to see Ryan freak out over this now. I can hardly wait for this story to continue droning on like Drone Chick's horrific voice used to. Blech.. Jonathon was sick. He killed Ryan's brother, a number of other people and tried to kill a bunch more. I know you would feel bad but I can see they are really going make Ryan go off the deep end and that is not something I am looking forward to.

Oh God is JR ever gonna lighten up. Can't wait to see Kendall give it to Ethan. She has really grown on me as an actress I just wish she'd gain some weight. When she was picking at the food on today's episode I was thinking EAT IT!

OK, Sam's bratty behavior today negated any nice feelings I was having about him, after the way that he was with Lily, yesterday. How many times can he insert "YOUR LOVER" into a sentence? "Well, I was hanging out with YOUR LOVER, Zach Slater. Now that Dad is dead, are you going to run off with YOUR LOVER? You never cared about Dad, all you cared about was seeing YOUR LOVER!" ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! Someone needs to set him straight - and not just Anita wimpily saying "Sam didn't mean that.......did you, Sam?"!

In the mean time, the only good thing that I can say about the Greenlee-Ryan and Kendall-Ethan situations is that they have brought Greenlee and Kendall closer, and I like when "they have each other's backs"! I like how they say seemingly mean things to one another, but you know that that's just their way of letting each other know that they care! I'm also not looking forward to them dragging out Ryan and his hallucinations, pushing Greenlee away, dealing with his childhood, etc. ZZZZZZZZZZZ I feel like we just went through that last summer, with Erica-the-showgirl hallucinating and reliving her childhood with her father - it's too soon to have to go through that, again. Ditto Di(xie) re-entering the PV world, the way that Maria did, a few years ago. It was kinda funny when people barged into David's house, one by one, and told him off, though - there were some good one-liners, there!

I need some help on exactly who Maria's kids are? I know they're Maddie and Sam, but are they hers and Edmund's natural kids? Because Maddie does look a bit like Maria, but Sam doesn't look anything like her at all.

Reminds me of watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Where the heck did him and Debra get those blonde haired kids?

grinninghost: Sam is adopted and is actually Bobby Warner's son, and Joe Martin's granddaughter's (Kelsie/Kate??) son--I can't remember who Kelsie/Kate's parents were though.

Maddie was Edmund and Maria's daughter--they got pregnant right after they adopted. Maddie (in her car seat) was in the plane crash with Brooke and Maria--the one where Maria "died".

Now that was a good story line when Eddumb and Maria were trying to adopt Sam. I was tripping down memory lane for AMC on a website reading up on some charactors I had missed altogether when I was working during the show and boy do I miss some of those old charactors. Natalie and Jeremy, Trevor and Janet. Ahhhh the memories.

I think Kelsie/Kate's parents were Tara and Philip or Tara and Chuck. It could have been one of those where they weren't sure who the father was. I've only read this page of the thread, but is anyone bothered by the fact that Sam and Maddie have aged 8 years in the last 6 months? I really liked the little girl that they used to play Maddie for the last couple of years. She was a good actress, so maybe she's moved on to movies or prime time tv. I also liked the red-haired kid that played Petey Cortland. I'm sure he'll be showing up in college sometime soon.

I really miss Janet from Another Planet, too!! It seems like the storylines are getting too heavy, there is nothing lighthearted or funny going on right now.

Yeah, I say they need to make Simone's part bigger and let Tad have some comical scenes, too - we could definitely use some "comic relief", right about now! Or bring back Lysistrata, the kooky therapist, or enterprising Petey Cortlandt - they were always good for some laughs, too!

I really miss Janet, too - she was great! Maybe if the new Amanda character works out well, Janet will come and visit her in PV, at some point!

I also thought that the Sam adoption storyline (where Ed-dumb and Maria were adopting Sam from Kelsey - and Kelsey kept changing her mind to spite them, since she had a huge crush on Ed-dumb - and then Ed-dumb ultimately had to rip Sam out of Maria's arms to return him to Kelsey..........leading Maria to have her affair with Dimitri.......) was a great one, of the past! There sure was a lot of "baby transferring" in that family - after they finally got Sam back, then Erica stole Maddie (what did she call her? Natasha? Sonya?) from Maria and tried to pass her of as her own! Now the Chandlers hold the title for the "family with the most parental transfers / kidnapping of children" in PV!

This is going WAY back, but when I think of humorous storylines, I always think of the original Opal Gardner (Dorothy Lyman) in her spandex pants when she first came to town. Everything about her and the Glamorama was funny.

Or that slug Billy Clyde Tuggle. He was funny too.

Oh Dorothy Lyman was fantastic. OK contest who can go back the furthest. Remember Devon? Ellen daughter, if I remember correctly there was a hint of lesbiasm but they never explored it. You know it just wasn't talked about back then.

And who remembers Phoebe's old chauffer, Benny? And Estelle - the hooker friend of Donna's? I can go way back, yet I haven't a clue what's going on now half the time.
