I agree with the entire "teen scene". Please I have teenagers.... If i want teenage drama...I'll talk to them(which I do plenty of)enough said. There is enough drama there without having to endure fake teenage drama on this show. It is ridiculous! They have gone this route on General Hospital also. It is so boring...and so far from reality...even my teens think it's ...well I can't say here what they say..it wouldn't be nice. But it's something teens say.
Please..it's enough. I watch usually on soap net...I think I'm going to go back to taping...yes the old tapes...and then I will be able to fast forward through this useless teen garbage.
I remember when Edmond Grey left..(or was given the boot..is more like it)....the actor who portrayed him said the very same thing some of you have mentioned...that they get rid of the older actors..ones they've had for a long time because of the salaries they get..and replace them with these kids.They can pay four or five of them and not have it equal what they had to pay him. The powers that be best be careful...you get what you pay for. In this case...it's not much.
I'm not saying that some of them might not even be good actors..as in the case of the teen that plays Lillie...but most are just AWFUL...and the storylines are beyond boring. I really don't think that most of the people watching these shows are teenagers. They couldn't be bothered...they are watching shows on cable and on mtv. Most of them so called reality based (guess that depends on your opinion of reality)...but they aren't watching All My Children in the middle of the day at 1 p.m. I'm fairly certain they are not tuning into Soap Net either. So WHO is supposed to care about this?
Getting rid of David..is a mistake. He was a great villian..because he wasn't really all bad...he was INTERESTING. He could be good...and twisted at the same time. Too bad ..I think the show needs him.

Oh..and yes Tad needs to do SOMETHING with his hair....not sure quite what..but a pair of scissors should be involved!

Guess "soapdom" isn't much different than the 'real' world. My profession (teaching) is notorious for making the "experienced" teachers miserable so they'll retire early and get replaced by cheaper staff.

I might be willing to PAY to watch the 'oldies but goodies' as far as actors go---these teen stories are so blah! (And I tape shows mostly to fast forward thru the Nicole/Paris scenes.)

Sure wish David Hayward was staying--some of his scenes with Tad have been priceless!!!

I know that Dixie is not in any shape to reclaim Kate, but it wasn't that long ago that Annie was in deep with her ex. A life on the run can't be that much better than a pyschotic Dixie. Can't believe they are actually letting David go! His story is far better than the others.
Oh my, the flashbacks of Zach are giving a internal 3rd degree. Yummy.

Well today's episode just ended and it looks like there beginning the set up for David's exit. But I have to admit sparks did really fly between Ryan and Annie.

What do you think.....Do you think Crystal is having Tad's baby or Adam's?

Do you think Ryan is suspicious of Annie's story about Emma? It looks (to me) as if he is calming her down so she does not leave so he can find out the truth.

I don't appreciate the teen scene either. Maybe it is a temporary thing and necessary for the Colby/Josh/Babe storyline - I hope. Colby is obnoxious, and I don't like storylines that make me want to get up and do something else until the scene changes. I am going to miss David's character, he was always full of contradictions and mystery. He's the guy you love to hate and hate to love. It seems the show is going thru some kind of growing pains and not sure which direction it's going to take.

Well it appears as though they slowed down the jerky camera movements.

Regardless, I will be watching or DVR'ing......it is my only vice, well almost....I have been addicted for years and I'm not stopping now.

Didn't someone tell Ryan about the DNA testing that they already had that showed the kiddo is probably Tad's? Tad asked him to help him do another test to verify the first one. Ryan said he would as long as Tad kept Dixie away from Emma.

I don't think he really believes Annie. I think he is a bit suspicious of her. Especially since she always wants to run away.

I missed Friday's show because we were without power (from Thursday at 10 p.m. until Sunday at 10 a.m. - what an experience). We were in the middle of the big storm in WNY!

Babe softens towards JR after he exposes Colby for lying about Josh.

Babe makes the decision to let go of Josh for the sake of her marriage.

Colby gives David ammunition by telling him all of the Carey family secrets.

Josh and Julia commiserate over their lives and lost loves.

Ryan defends Annie's actions to Tad.

Tad turns to Julia for help with information on his daughter.

Babe tells Bianca of her decision to choose JR over Josh.

Bianca is stunned by what Josh has to say.

Kendall can't stop thinking about Zach even though she believes that her marriage is over.

Zach makes it very clear to Dixie that he still loves his wife.

Kendall goes to visit Zach and tells him that she is still in love with him.

Zach and Kendall make love.

Ryan and Zach put their differences aside when it becomes apparent that Kendall wants to give her marriage another try.

Kendall and Babe end their truce in a big way.

Ryan confronts Annie over what she is hiding from him.

Tad puts Krystal on the spot.

Here's my theory. That Tad made a deposit at the bank of Dr. Madden and Emma is Tad's but not Dixie's. We know Annie is hiding something maybe that's it?

You are so right...at least she had clothes on..usually she is just a human bone with a large head almost like a life size match stick. I love her business woman attire at the office..the spaghetti strap numbers in the dead of winter. What office does she work at...who actually wears this stuff to work. She is supposed to be the owner of a cosmetic company..and oops now she is a tv star again. Although they've sort of forgotten about that for a while now.
