Long time reader of this thread, although a rare poster.

Just got caught up with this week's TIVOed episodes (fast forwarding through all the teeny bopper bits):

DH kept rolling his eyes with Ryan's injury and the declaration no major organs were damaged.

I really hate what they've done with the Derek Fry character. Could they make him any more dense?

(Second only to the continued stiff acting of Jack who could not be any more annoying.)

How are they going to reconcile the Annie/Dixie mother thing? Or are we going to have some strange triangle?

And why do they wheel a dead man through the ER for everyone to look at?? Um guys, he was dead at the scene? Why are you bringing him in here??

Oh, and Terry gets the award for hairiest chest on a soap EVER.

I was SO annoyed with both Jack and Derek today, even more than usually, but what really got me were those idiotic scenes of supposedly drunk teenagers in the ER. Between the stupid kid saying "oh no, don't call the 'rents" and Sean trying to do wheelies in the wheelchair. UUGGHH! Who acts like that? Were these writers never that age?

Does anyone watch OLTL? I noticed today they've started with the annoying hand-held camera tricks too. After more than 30 years (eek!) of watching these shows, even I'm losing patience!
