Here is the info on this Jordan character:

Former GL Star To Make AMC Appearance

Bradley Cole (ex Richard Winslow, Guiding Light) will make a guest appearance on All My Children in January. Cole will play Jordan Roberts, a friend of Erica Kane.

Cole opted to leave his role as Richard Winslow on CBS's Guiding Light in July. While Cole was quite popular among fans of the show, the actor decided that he wanted to leave daytime to pursue other projects, including a return to the stage. Any chance of Cole returning to his role on Guiding Light was wiped away when the writers killed off the character and had the character's heart donated to another lead character.

Cole apparently beat out a former Days of Our Lives star for the two-day AMC appearance. Roark Critchlow (ex Mike Horton, Days of Our Lives) told fans on his official web site that they might soon have reason to tune into All My Children. However, Critchlow later revealed that the AMC project fell through.

Cole's stint on AMC is scheduled to last just two days and there is no word on whether or not the role could become more regular. Mark Pinter (ex Roger Smythe) similarly signed on in 2001 to portray Roger Smythe, Greenlee's father. Fan reaction to Pinter's work was so positive that show execs offered a contract to the actor.

Cole's appearances are scheduled for January 2nd and 3rd.

well I am watching the show and I have to say I am enjoying it! I like all of these different "dreams"

Missed the show a few days last week, but gotta say, today's show has been great. Love these dreams! Maggie's had me ROFL!! :teeth:

Not too excited about the whole dreams thing today. I did enjoy watching the special one hour Port Charles. That whole vampire storyline intrigues me...........

I missed the ending but I did record it. Still have yet to watch it but I thought it was pretty cool. It added a little fun to the show - girl power. I thought it was funny when the pizza guy came in to a room full of women. LOL

Hey Everyone!

I loved yesterday's episode! It was a nice change, and I thought that it was very well done! But forget the ladies - I thought that the best part of the show was when Petey was dancing! He's great! I love that kid - very talented! He's obviously trained in ballet.

I know that this was a "fantasy" episode, but:

1. What the heck was Maggie doing there? Wouldn't Bianca think her totally disloyal by helping out the competition?

2. What the heck were Joanie and Laurie doing there? Aren't they a little young to be involved in launching a new business? And who brought them there - Kendall? (Who is Laurie's "adversary"??)

I liked Liza's interpretation of Mia's fantasy, with her dressed like a 50's housewife, serving Jake his glass of milk!

I really enjoyed the show!

Wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2003!!!!!!!!!!

Since my New Year's resolution is to be nicer, I need to get this off my chest today.

1. Joanie and Laurie need to go. They are not that attractive and they're two of the least dynamic characters that I can think of. I think the storyline between Laurie (or is it Joanie) and her father has real potential, but they need a different actress.

2. Mia is unattractive. It looks like she has a bad complexion and sometimes you can see through her makeup. By the way, is the actress pregnant in real life? I saw a picture of her in Soap Opera Digest and she was standing there with her hand on her somache.

3. They always make Liza look frumpy and fat. Then again, maybe she is frumpy and fat.

4. Greenlee's sarcastic act is getting old.

5. Maggie needs to go.

6. Erica is out of style.

7. Chris and Erica are going nowhere.

Okay, I'll stop for now. What if for 2003 they had a serious issue-like if Erica had breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy, loser her hair, etc. This would open up some real serious acting opportunities for her and allow her, Bianca, and Chris to really stretch their characters a bit.

Everyone have a happy New Year!!!1

Oh come on, PNelson - you are already very nice! :) No need to resolve to be "nicer"! And you can always vent, here!

Interesting thoughts about upcoming storylines for Erica (I agree that she and Chris are going nowhere - and with all of your other comments, too!). But I doubt that they would ever allow Erica to look unattractive. Remember when she had that "hideous scar" that we never got to see, because she always had it covered up with her "Phantom of the Opera" mask? They would never let her look anything less than perfect. And it seemed that they tried to address a serious issue with Liza's brain tumor last year....but then turned it into the usual Liza-Adam-cat-and-mouse-circus that they always do! Oh well.....maybe the writers will come through with some more interesting or substantial stories in 2003!

Once again, Happy New Year, all! :)

I forgot to post my goal for 2003-To develop arms, shoulders, triceps and biceps like Greenlee. Of all the thin, too skinny women (Kendall comes to mind), Greenlee is very fit. She looks great in all the sleeveless clothes they put her in.

I second all of pnelsons comments! :) And I agree with her resolution to have arms like Greens! :smooth:

I enjoyed Petey's scenes in the girl episode! He sure can dance!

I half-watched today's episode. The scenes with Tad & Jr were nice! Good to see Tad being a "dad". I'm sad that Ed-dumb cancelled the Crystal Ball but hey we still get to buy a keepsake from it! ;)

Happy New Year AMC Friends!

I missed the show today! Had to take youngest DS to the hospital for pre-admission testing. He's getting his tonsils out on Friday!

Just wanted to wish all my AMC pals a very blessed New Year! :)

Hope you all have a Healthy and Happy New Year!;) I saw about 35 min of the show today, and then took a nap!:o Getting ready to ring in the New Year.;) Bye 2002 and HELLO 2003!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Happy New Year my fellow AMC pals. I hope that everyone has a great new year filled with happiness.

I am grateful that have met a few of you and in the coming year I hope to meet more of you.

Hello everyone I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and safe New Year! I have been offline for a couple of days (I DIS a lot from work and have been off since friday.) and am just catching up. All through Monday's episode I kept saying, with all these ideas they need to call the company Infusion, then they go and decide on Fusion, oh well. Monday's show was amusing but one big rant. WHY would Liza let Petey go to a liquor store with a complete STARNGER? Would she do this with Colby (Cheese)? Well considering she lets Cheese girl walk to cars alone, maybe. I just thought that was out of character. Oh well, it was a fantasy show I suppose. I wonder how soon before we see Pizza and 6 packs of soda on Shop the Soaps.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Good evening everyone. Just got off of work and thought I would bump our thread up. How was everyone's New Year?

Happy New Year, Everyone!! :)

Hope that you all had a very happy holiday! Mine was nice - very quiet - we just went to my sister-in-law's, watched TV Land, played board games, and sat around a fire in her outdoor fireplace. Very low key and pleasant!

Anyway, may I please join you, PNelson and Pembo, in your quest for Greenlee's biceps, triceps, and shoulders? And while we're at it, could we try for her wardrobe, too? I think that in all the time that she's been on the show, there have maybe been 2 of her outfits that I didn't like - they always give her such great clothes!

Hope that all goes well with your DS's surgery, Sherry!

I'm also sort of disappointed that they cancelled the Crystal Ball. I liked how Maria sort of "threw that into the conversation" so that we wouldn't all be wondering what happened to it! But of course, even without a ball, there's still a keepsake - we'll be watching for it on Shop the Soaps, Pembo!

And speaking of "Shop the Soaps", maybe they can include a delivery person who also serves as business consultant and babysitter, when they offer the designer pizza and soda, Sarge! Yeah, I also wondered why Liza would send Petey to a liquor store with a stranger.....or AT ALL, for that matter! At least conscientious Nanny Kendall scolded him for leaving without telling her!

I'm still wondering if this new Aidan-suspected-of-murder storyline is just the beginning of a device to get him off the show. Having the husband of his deceased lover follow him to the States to kill him? How trite. Haven't we seen these people-from-the-past plots before? (Janet's old prison roommate getting out and following her to blackmail her, Mateo's ex-wife manufacturing herself.....and a son.....out of thin air to come back and "haunt" him and Hayley.....) It just seems like they don't know what to do with Aidan and haven't, ever since he came on the show. I guess they've completely forgotten about his affair with Kendall (what about his writing "Kendall" as his "thing to be thankful for" on Thanksgiving? I guess that he's forgotten all about those feelings. And now we find out that he was only drawn to Maria because she sort of looks like Fiona? Don't Chris and Erica care where he is, since they seemed to spend so much time together when he spent all summer shirtless, working on the loft?).

After all has been said and done, what WAS the point of having Liza push Mia out the window? In a matter of weeks, they've all forgiven one another, Mia has no scars and is no longer walking with a cane, and now she and Liza are bestest buddies and business partners! Was it just a way of having Liza and Adam get back together? What does Adam think about this new business venture and the fact that Liza will no longer be working at Chandler Enterprises?

Maybe the What Women Want episode and the starting of this company was a way to sort of "wipe the slate clean" in terms of the past storylines that weren't really going anywhere. Isn't there a new head writer at ABC? Or on the show itself? Maybe they want to take the plots in different directions, or something. What will they do with Frank, now that he's agreed not to pursue his son and now that Simone has dumped him?

Oh well. We'll see!

Have a nice day! :)
