All My Children Fans Revisted!! (still loving and hating our show)

Hi Guys! Just wanted to tell you a little bit about my time at the
luncheon this past Sunday. Unfortunately I don't have a scanner so I can't share the pics that I took.

This was my 4th luncheon in a row, so I've met a good many of the stars before (also met them at SSW weekends over the years). So I was more determined to meet the newbies. As soon as we were allowed to get in line for the autographs I went to the nearest line not knowing who would be there yet. It was Jill Larson (Opal), Julia Barr (Brooke) and William de Vry (Michael Cambias). I already met the ladies but still had them sign my book and did the same with Wil. Then I went over to Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) and Tomy Dunster (Juan Pablo). I've met Rebecca before so she signed my book and then I was excited to meet Tomy. He had an interpreter with him but he really didn't need her. His English is very understandable, and I commented to him that he was getting plenty of practice today. He was very charming and gorgeous! Now on to Elizabeth Hendrickson (Maggie), Eden Rigel (Bianca) and Olga Sosnovska (Lena). I had Liz sign my book (met her at SSW/CA), I had an 8 x 10 for Eden to sign (I also chatted with Eden in the ladies room while we were both at the mirror) and got to meet Olga for the first time. She is so beautiful and model-like. Next was Marc Menard (Boyd), William Christiansen (Derek), Teri Ivens (Simone) and Max Alexander (Carlos). Teri came out into the line and posed for pictures with us. Her hand was hurt so she didn't sign much but I had met her last year for autographs. Marc is so cute!, William is a delight to meet and he looked at the pic I had him sign and said that he hadn't seen that one in a long time and enjoyed seeing himself without gray hair. LOL! Max was very fan friendly and seemed to make everyone feel very special. The time was up and we had to leave the luncheon so I missed seeing Michael E. Knight, Susan Lucci, Walt Willey, Michael Jordan (Reggie), Paulina Gerzon (Maddie Grey), Micah Alberti (Jamie), Amanda Seyfried (Joni), Amelia Henlie (Mia), Vincent Irizarry (David), Laurance Lau (Greg Nelson), Aiden Turner and Cameron Mathison. The only ones of these that I have never met before were Maddie, Joni, and Reggie. I've been lucky to meet all the rest. So all in all I did pretty good. I can't wait to go next year not just for the stars but also to see all my friends (Chicago, Ohio, Long Island to name a few). Just one more celebrity sighting to report. My friends and I were having dinner at a Mexican restaurant near our hotel and were had a window view. We saw Chris Noth (Mr. Big from Sex in the City) walk by twice and we wish we could have run out of the restaurant and got a pic, but we were too shocked to even move. At least we saw him!

OK, I shed my first tear over the Bianca story today. Watching Erica's face, broke my heart! Now making her prego, that will make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Ed-dumb and Maria, but good lord, can't they do anything? Fight, work, go to the mall separately, anything???????

Juan Pablo and Carlos, YUCK! What the heck were they talking about today, are we supposed to know or is it a mystery still? At least Juan Pablo has an accent.

Greens and Jack are cute, I'm sure they'll be just fine. It will be so good for Greenlee.

So Mr. Cambias is going to put Ryan in charge of Cambias enterprises, I guess??? That should tick Michael off royally. Could he be any nastier??? That should also make Ryan very wealthy. I think he and Greenlee could be great together, but I think I'd rather him get back with Kendall. She has totally redeemed herself, and she loved him so much.

Thanks for the great report from the Fan Club luncheon, Janice! It sounds amazing - I really have to make it there, one of these years! It also sounds like you had a lot of fun, and that's so funny that you saw "Mr. Big" on top of everyone else!

I'll bet that the spoiler to which you were referring is that Bianca will wind up being pregnant, Christine! I didn't look at your newest batch of spoilers, but I'll bet that that's what it is, since they've already begun hinting at that.

Very powerful scene between Erica and Bianca, today. If both of these women don't win Daytime Emmy's next year, I will be very surprised - and upset! They are both doing a fantastic job with this storyline.

Loved seeing Greenlee and Jack beginning to bond, as well. It was so sweet when he asked Greenlee "what do YOU need from ME" - Leo was probably the only other person in her life who ever offered her anything, instead of wanting something from her.

The whole thing with Michael wiring money to Fusion's account and Simone's immediately wiring it to the IRS is just ridiculous.

I KNEW that Carlos was going to wind up being some rich prince, or something! I hope that Juan Pablo sends him away on his private jet though, and doesn't let him return until he takes some acting lessons!

Great show yesterday. I agree, if Susan & Eden don't win Emmy's I will be very upset.

I hate to see Binks getting pregnant and doing that whole storyline again. ICK!

Loved the scenes with Jack & Greens. I hope they can work things out.

Oh why is AMC doing the whole rap and baby afterwards with Bianca?? It's just too repetitive to even be conceiveable since it happened to Erica....but I do want to see how Kendall reacts and then how she reacts later down the road with the baby.

Interesting...

I'll have to watch the show tonight on Soap Net.

Hi Barb - OK, then, maybe Kendall will raise the baby because she feels so guilty about "bringing Michael back to town"! (I still don't get why she's blaming herself for that - he would have come to town on his own, anyway, to start causing trouble for Enchantment.)

Hi Sherry and Pam! I hope that you weren't affected by the blackout at all, Pam! We were "down the shore" (but not at "AC" or "LBI" or "Rockin' the Pony"! We did confirm, however, that there is indeed no salt in salt water taffy and no skiing in ski ball! Hee hee! ) all day, yesterday, and were blissfully oblivious to the largest blackout in US history.........until we were in the car, driving home, and heard about it on the radio! Fortunately, we live a tiny bit South of the affected area, and hadn't lost our power at all. But anyway, I digress..........

So glad that Bianca told her story to Anna and loved when Anna arrested Michael, right in front of the Fusion crew! I also wish that she didn't have to be pregnant, though. Am curious to see how that plays out, though.

Also, I'm glad that they followed up on the Habitat for Humanity storyline, long enough to show the almost completed house. It's a nice tribute to the organization that they didn't just drop the story after the Luis plot was over, and that they showed the residents of PV working together to complete it (they didn't have to show Maria and Ed-dumb with their hands all over eachother, there, though........don't those 2 have any sense of decorum?! Did you catch them in the background of one of the shots, when he was lifting her up and she was painting? At least they didn't say any of their "x-rated lines", yesterday! They are too much! Guaranteed, within weeks of taking her "re-certification exam", Maria will be elected by the PVH Board of Directors as the new Chief of Staff!).

I'm telling you........Brooke and Jack, and Erica and David........!

We were without power for 5 hours yesterday. Never lost water, but we're under a boil alert until noon. Some parts are under a 24 hour alert. Hopefully ours won't change. Cleveland is a mess and downtown is shut down until noon.

The show has had me in tears the past few days. I'm so glad the rape is out in the open now, and I also loved that Michael was arrested in front of everyone. Man, when Kendall cries, I just wanna bawl. That girl can cry!!

I really don't want to see the whole pg storyline.

Sherry! I'm so sorry that I didn't ask how you fared in the blackout! I'm such an idiot - I keep thinking that you live in Florida! Sorry about that! I didn't mean to seem inconsiderate.


So glad that your power was restored and that everything seems to be getting back to normal! Hopefully it will stay that way! I still can't believe that this blackout was so serious and widespread - I spent most of last night, into the wee hours of the morning, watching the coverage on TV. We're supposed to visit friends in NYC tomorrow - I just hope that the trains are running on schedule again and that their power is fully restored, by then!

You're right - Kendall sure is a great cryer! Maria still holds the record for "Best Cryer in Pine Valley", though, in my opinion!

Lisa, Thanks for thinking of us. Glad to hear you weren't really effected. I skipped AMC yesterday afternoon planning to watch it at 8:00 p.m. on Soap Net. WRONG! Power didn't come on here until after 2:00 a.m. I see you hit some of the high points, anything else I need to know?

Be sure to check before you head into the City, Lisa. Most places are still out and all the transportation is running on funny schedules.

Kendall is great at kicking out the tears, but she kinda sounds funny when she cries. She gets to me though! Her reactions to this have been more powerful than Erica's I think. I will be curious to see Erica, Kendall and Bianca all in the same room now.

I totally agree, nobody cries better than Eva La Rue, get me a huge box of kleenex when she starts. That said, I am so sick of their kissy face all the time, he interrupts her painting yesterday and says "kiss", BLECK!!!!!!!!!!! That was the most inappropriate place for that!

It runs Sunday afternoon on Soap Net. (I just checked the schedule -- It starts at 1:30 p.m. They show the marathon again at 1:00 a.m. Sunday night/Monday morning....a little late for me.)
These times are for the Eastern time zone on cable.
