Whoa! How about that ending scene with Aidan and Maria / Maureen, yesterday??!! And the coming attractions for today?! Wow! I guess we knew that it was bound to happen, but it sure is weird to see Maria with anyone except Edmund (.....or Dimitri, I guess!)! I'm happy that this is happening - it serves Ed-dumb right! And I kinda like Aidan and Maria together - she is more interesting with him than she is with Ed-dumb! She has more spirit and spunk, now - the "old" Maria would never have told someone to "go to h_ _ _"!

In the mean time, it looks like Ed-dumb is finally waking up. At least he "condescended" to tell Brooke "not everything is your fault"......gee, thanks Ed-dumb. I hope that he gives her the apology that she deserves, eventually. And is Mateo turning into Hector? He was talking to Ed-dumb about Maria as if she was a possession of his that he has to "reclaim"! Now that Ed-dumb is waking up and realizing that Maureen is different from Maria, maybe Mateo will, too.

I'm glad that Hayley tried to comfort Brooke and that there is finally someone on her "side".....but that was a total turnaround from the last time we saw Hayley, when she was putting Brooke down. I wonder what changed her mind? When she started talking to Brooke, I said to DH "oh good - finally a Hayley 'lecture' that I'm going to like!"!

I also thought that Erica's dress was ridiculous - I could not believe the back, with her bra strap showing! Of course she looked great in it, but it was very tacky!

I hope that they don't kill off Leo and / or Vanessa! I can't believe that he stole evidence again.......maybe he will just have to go on the run, and Greenlee will help him disappear, or something.

Yea! Trey figured out that he and Kendall are brother and sister! I'm glad that they didn't drag that out too long!

I liked the scenes with Simone and Frank, the other day - finally, a nice storyline for Simone - I don't find her so annoying, any more. I wonder what Frank's big secret is, though.

I'm glad that we have been Chandler-free, for the past few days. Now if only David and Anna would take vacations......!

I can't wait to hear about SSW, after you all go in a few weeks! You'll have a great time!

No, I don't think that any other soap opera character has been married as many times as Erica has! And now, she is engaged again (which, as we know, doesn't mean that she will actually go through with the wedding.......anyone remember when she and Jack were engaged, a few years ago, and were designing their dream house....until Bianca saw the blueprints and got sick?)!

I know what you mean about them killing off all of the beloved characters.......but as we've seen recently, they all manage to come back eventually......with amnesia!

Hi, ladies! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I just had to pop in to say that, like Lisa, I loved the ending yesterday. I posted a while back I wanted Maureen and Aidan to have an affair and it looks like my wish will come true. Woohoo! I really never thought they'd go there. I'm finding Maureen much more interesting than I ever found Maria. I also hope that Edmund and Brooke eventually get back together. Yeah, Edmund's been a jerk but he always has been and Brooke fell in love with him anyway. I'm sure it's just wishful thinking on my part. Edmund and Maria will find their way back to each other. Too many fans want it. I'm just not one of them.

Oh, and maybe I'm alone on this now based on a few recent posts but I STILL HATE KENDALL!!!!!

What was the deal with Erica's dress??? Obviously her bra was suppose to show. Is this the new fashion or something? Very strange! I don't like it.

pumba - I believe Chris will make marriage #10 or 11 for Erica. Yes, they're only engaged now but I really think they're going to get married. (Sorry, Patty! )

I too like Maureen with Aiden - she is a totally different person with him. Granted I do not remember much of Maria & Edmund - I was not watching much when they were together before.

Good morning!

Oh - so the love scene between Aidan and Maria yesterday turned out to be only a fantasy. Oh well. I have a feeling that they will at least "somewhat" get together before Maria ultimately winds up back with Edmund. I loved when she came over to say "hi" to Edmund and Brooke at the restaurant, yesterday, and was then like "nice seeing you - bye!" and went to sit down with Joe - that was great!! Didn't Edmund realize what a rude jerk he was being to Brooke?? After she offers to help him do research on amnesia, the second Maria walks in, he ignores her like she's not even there! I really hope that he "gets his" and catches Maria with Aidan, or something! And when he asked Brooke "maybe I should talk to Jamie?" well, that's the LEAST he could do after all of the trips that Brooke has made to Wildwind to comfort Maddie! He's such a selfish idiot - he deserves to wind up with no one! I'm so disappointed in him - I used to love his character, years ago.

Wow - an entire show with no Chandlers and no Anna and David - what a refreshing change! It doesn't look like we'll be so lucky today, though.

I'm not thrilled with Kendall either, Aprille, but I did like her scenes with Trey yesterday. I'll bet that she will wind up helping him and they'll become all close and "family-like".....then he'll find out that she was responsible for tipping Chris and Jack off about his burning down of Erica's house.

I'm curious to see how the rest of the scene with Erica and Vanessa plays out. I guess they're trying to bring Vanessa's original storyline full circle. When she first came on the show, she supposedly came to go after Erica for something. But when Leo arrived, they changed her motivation for being there to her wanting to go after Palmer and his money, while Leo was there to go after Greenlee and her money. Maybe they will finally explain what Vanessa's issue with Erica was to start with (Richard Fields-related, no doubt!).

Well, don't that figure?! I haven't watched yesterday's episode yet but I can't say this surprises me. I just knew they wouldn't go there. Dang it!

I will concede that Kendall is tolerable when she's not in her vengeance-against-Erica mode but she's on my poopy list and once a character lands on my poopy list it's next to impossible to be removed from said list. The scene at the hospital the other day with Kendall ragging on Erica completely unprovoked (as usual) just reenforces the fact that she belongs on my list.

I was just popping in to say that I read on PVB that the new AMC opening will be shown on Entertainment Tonight today, Fri - 10/4. I don't watch ET (it comes on opposite my beloved Wheel of Fortune) but I will try to catch it tonight. I hope this means they will start running it next week.

Okay, I'm off to watch yesterday's episode and be thoroughly disappointed that the Aidan/Maria make-out scenes are fantasy.

I'm sorry Aprille! I didn't mean to ruin the surprise about Aidan and Maria! But if this cheers you up, wait till you see Kendall go off on Erica, unprovoked, today (yesterday's episode)!

Have you heard very much about the new opening? Will the theme music change? (I hope not!) Will there be "live action shots" of all of the characters? I like the fact that all of the characters are featured in the current opening - I hope that they don't change that aspect of it!

Lisa - no need to apologize. I knew you had posted after yesterday's episode so I was reading at my own risk. LOL! Oh goody -- Kendall goes off on Erica AGAIN?!?! How original. If they would just keep these two apart I might be able to enjoy Kendall. But I don't think she'll ever come off my list.

I haven't really heard anything about the new opening except that there is one. My guess is there will be a new rendition of the same ol' theme song. Seems like everytime they update the opening, they update the song too. I'm anxious to see the sneak preview tonight on ET.

Speaking of openings-I remember when I was veryvery young,our babysitter watched AMC and it was a book with All My Children written in "gold-leaf" and the opening music-I wish I could hum it for you-daa daa daaaa dada-dada daadaa daaa-ok never mind. I used to think it was SOOSOO boring.

My weekend, a little pokey-I should've been studying but have mostly been Dis'ing-heheh.

Ending months of speculation, Emmy winner Josh Duhamel (Leo duPres) has announced that he is leaving All My Children.

At the annual AMC Fan Club Luncheon held last month, Duhamel announced that he had taped his final scenes for the show on September 20th. Those scenes will air later this month.

Soap Opera Central first reported on the rumors of Duhamel's exit in March of this year. The talk came two months prior to Duhamel winning the Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy at this year's Daytime Emmy Awards. The Emmy win only added fuel to the rumor mill. At about the same time came chatter that Duhamel was being considered for a role on Passions.

Duhamel, like many daytime actors before him, has expressed an interest in pursuing work in feature films. Unlike some of his predecessors, most critics believe that Duhamel can make a name for himself in Hollywood.

Duhamel joined the cast of All My Children on November 22nd, 1999. <b>He makes his final AMC appearance on October 17th.</b></i>
