Is there a master list someone has somewhere that shows which movies and tv shows are referenced all over Disney World? (NOT just character meets - I know there are lists of those). We don't watch a lot of TV or movies, but I'd like to get some in before our trip - so we know what the Phineas and Ferb drinks are in AK, and why Donald Duck is singing with two other Latin Ducks in Epcot. My kids also have a few favorites, such as Mary Poppins, so I'd love to know everything at Disney World that references the movie. I know of a few so far. I'd like to know movies for adults too - like the movies in Great Movie Ride. There has to be some sort of grand list somewhere, no?

Examples:
Mary Poppins - 1900 Park Fare Breakfast, Great Movie Ride, Mary may be present at Akershus, meet Mr. Penguin at Magic of Animation in Hollywood Studios.

Finding Nemo - The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Nemo Suites at AoA, Turtle Talk with Crush

Lady and the Tramp - Tony's Town Square

Uh, no. At least I seriously doubt it. Would be a pain to keep up to date with little value. "Most Disney movies (and a few others)" is all that most people care to know.

I don't know of any such master list, but if you look hard enough I think every disney movie ever made is actually represented SOMEWHERE in the world (sometimes you have to leave the four parks for the hotels).

A few months ago I had been asking about some of the more "essoteric" movies and we were able to come up with a representation for every movie we could think of.

Hmmm - When I have time, I might start up a list like this. My train commute is 2 1/2 hours each way, so I'm always looking for new projects...

Hollywood Studios has some GREAT movie references to ALL OVER. I especially like the Who Framed Roger Rabbit reference around Echo Lake and the ones that used to surround the exit of Backlot Tour.

But yes, TiggerBouncy is 100% correct - - every Disney film is probably referenced multiple times throughout the park.... now the non-Disney films are another story: Jungle Cruise = The African Queen, etc etc etc.

Just did a 2 minute google and came up empty for any "master list". A little php, a little mysql...sounds simple on paper...sorry, I'm out! With my 2.5yo and 5wo I have a hard enough time finding time to work on my current projects let along take up a new one! Although I can see the database not only tracking movie references but also references to "lost attractions" (Mr. Toad outside HM), hidden mickeys, etc, etc. See...now I'm thinking how cool it could be.

Value? No...
Only to the Disney addicts like myself. :cool1:

This would be super cool. I think just the Disney/Pixar movies and shows would be enough.

Starting list tonight on my way home. If we can all get a pretty comprehensive one going, I'll post it on my website for everyone!

That sounds like a cool idea. I go every year but with a different person as my guest. We love to play games like this as we tour the parks. It will be a blast to see what you guys come up with then I will play it on my trip with my dd in October

I have to say this is a fun project - one I've thought about before but not actually started.

I thought there were large statues of Lady and the Tramp at a value resort but I'm drawing a blank on where.... Movies maybe?

Does anyone have a list of all of the Disney movies? I know they're not all represented but it would give us a starting point.

Disney Chronology - yes, I am that geek who had this in a spreadsheet.

A quick Wiki search shows that I left out the live action movies. Sorry.

I think we could create a "find in the parks" list pretty easily.

Check out the Book "From Screen to Theme". From Screen to Theme is a book series that directs its readers to references in the Walt Disney World Resort from both animated and live action Disney movies.

Do they have the small in-jokes in that book - such as The Wooden Leg named "Smith" from Mary Poppins in the WDW Railroad?

I have not seen any sign of Gurgi since Crunchies and Munchies left. But now I'm determined...I'll do a little research asap and get back to ya ;)
