All Mods sold out Sept 24-30 for free dining? Can anyone confirm?

Someone reported that all moderates are sold out for free dining the week of Sept.24-30....can anyone else confirm this? I'm hoping and praying this is not the case. I know that CM's are not always accurate so I was hoping someone else had some info.

Yes....it was the week of Sept.24 through the 30th.....not all weeks...but that is my week and I have to unfortunately wait till the 4th and now I'm worried that this info is correct. Just wondering if anyone else has just today tried to book a mod that week....anyone?

I'm sure disney only released a certain amount of rooms for the disney visa holders. I'm sure more rooms will be added to the inventory on Tuesday am for the general public. I find it hard to believe that they will be completely sold out of every room type by the end of the day Tuesday. If this is like most other disney promotions they will be advertising it in many markets (print ads) for weeks to come. This is a slow time of the year for disney: Kids are recently back in school and it is hurricane season. You will be fine.

I hate when this stuff happens...

we do not hold a visa BUT let me tell you...last year I was able to get free dining way after the very first day of promotion...I doubt that this is the case...I mean ALL MODS??? Come on now....HOW many people could even know about this deal (I know a lot) but then again IT IS hurricane season and school is very much in session at this time! I would call in yourself or get a great TA to help you out, that it what I did last year. Otherwise if this is in fact the truth, you could always move your trip up or down a day, that may work for availability too. Don't sweat it, we had a choice of a lot of resorts last year within a couple months of my dates becuase I switched resorts three times !! I think FINALLY my TA told me that they had sold out at AK and WL for my dates (late september).

Don't worry I am sure there is plenty to go around...

yes to all of that, but it is also the Jewish holidays (Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur) and a LOT of schools have some days off thru those dates... ours does... which coupled with free dining could lead to higher attendance than usual...

we're booked at pop but considering a mod... maybe i should switch our ressie now, instead of waiting to decide... hmmmm...

I agree.....I can't believe ALL Mods either for that week...I think if they were told that it was a CM mistake or they did only release so many for the Disney Visa....we booked last year too and I know it was several weeks in and there was like no urgency what so ever! This year just seems to have everyone in a tizzy. I am gonna just chill till Tuesday.

I have to wait until the 4th too and I'm trying not to worry about it. My new TA said they are saving rooms to be released for the general public on Tuesday (at least that's what she was told by 3 different CM's). I'm hoping to get POP for August 13-22 but if that's not open then I want a FW Cabin. Hopefully the cabins will fly under the radar long enough for us to get one if POP is sold out.

i made my reservation sunday morning at about 8ish
i have the disney visa and i got the dates and hotel i wanted
i cant see all of them sold out
but i would call right away to book-i always take vacation during the jewish holidays and alot of schools close
its a beautiful time of year to go and they have the food and wine festival going-1st weekend
also its the 1st weekend of mnsshp
good luck-book a value if you cant get the moderate

I think that with something this big there will be plenty of rooms available. You may not get your first choice but hey, it's still Disney!
