I really loved Mission Space last time I rode it too. It does get a little scary when they close you in all tight but the ride itself it worth it. Glad to hear you stayed with it

OMG an update!!!! Finally. Yay!!! You liked Mission Space!? Ick. I rode the chicken side one time and that was enough for me. I don't like feeling closed into anything.

The thing Ryan is referring to used to be the entrance to Club Cool. You walked through this igloo thing and it was all cold and like a cave...they probably took it out because stoller traffic wasn't allowed and they were always griping about it. Kids would play inside and get hurt so more than likely that's why it's gone. I agree that it was a much "cooler" entrance. By the way GREAT Bev pics. Wait 'til you see ours.

We tried Sun Seas on this trip for the first time too. I liked it. The strawberry shortcake was really good and FULL of berries. I'd do it again for CS! Did I tell you we're going back in March!!!!

I did like Mission Space! Closed spaces don't really bother me. The only reason I was scared was because all of the dang warnings on that ride I felt like if I went on the ride I was going to die.

I told Ryan you knew the cave thing he was talking about and he was so happy because when he told me about it I looked at him like he was crazy.

I could so go for some of that strawberry shortcake right now. It was so good. I wish I was going in March.

Funny Beverly pic. My DS actually spit his out in the drain uner the sodas. It all happened so fast we couldn't stop him but we did get an awesome picture of him spitting it out cause i was going to take a pic of his face but he was too smart for us. I can't believe you were brave enough to try it knowing all the rumors

I love the food at Sunshine Seasons. It's a great place to get something different. I agree about the Key lime pie. I've had better. They have a mean chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, though.

I think if someone closed me in on Mission:Space, I'd probably gather up the strength to pull off a door or something! I am 99.99% sure I will never get on that ride!

The guys did both the orange and green sides at Thanksgiving. They said there sure is a difference! I will take their word for it.

I had to try it. At first I wasn't going to, but I had to try it for myself to know how bad it really was. And it DID live up to the rumors.

Sunshine Seasons is VERY good! I loved it. I don't know what it was about the key lime pie it wasn't bad it was just weird. I have never tasted a key lime pie with that consistancy before instead of being thick like a cheesecake it was more like whipped cream with a key lime flavor. Very weird.

I liked Mission: Space a lot. I am not scared of small space really. The only time that they freak me out is when I am on an elevator with a lot of people. The one at my school "jumps" when there are a bunch of people on. That is a good excuse for me to take the stairs.

I should have gotten double mashed potatoes, but I didn't even think of doing that. I will next time though. The chocolate peanut butter cake sounds GREAT! I saw a picture of the Butter Finger cheesecake and I have to get that next time. Butter fingers are my favorite candy and cheesecake is my favorite dessert.

Hi Everyone! I know I've been MIA for a while. I've had strep throat a couple weeks ago and It's still not fully gone yet. I have also been up to my neck in school work. This semester seems to be so much worse than last semester. Oh well. I'm glad to have the time to get an update up now. I promise not to leave you hanging again! Scouts honor.



Where I left you last we were on our way to Akershus!

Keep in mind I was secretly hoping Ariel would be there, but I knew not to get dissapointed if she wasn't. Our ADR was for 6:10 PM and we got there at about 6:00. We were given a buzzer and told to wait. I told Ryan I'm going to go next door and buy an autograph book! So I did and by the time I bought it we waited about 5 minutes and we were escorted in.

We come in and meet my 2nd favorite princess, Belle!

I hate the way I look in all of these pictures. I was so tired from waking up so early, but I was still happy to be there. When I made reservations I was so nervous about the food, because I am pretty picky.

Our waiter comes to take our drink orders. I get a sprite and Ryan gets a Glowtini! He liked it, but said it was too sweet ... that's pretty funny coming from a guy who could drink nothing but Kool-Aid!

We then go to the cold buffet. I didn't get any pictures of this. I think I just got shrimp (with ranch dressing of course)

Then our food came. I got the pork shank and Ryan got the salmon. Mine was pretty good.

Then it was the good part! The princesses!

First up was Mary Poppins. (Hey she's not a princess )

It's probably just me, but I really don't care for her much. I think it's just because she reminds me of one of my aunts who gets on my nerves.

Next up was Jasmine. For some reason when Ryan and I tried to talk to her we couldn't really understand what she was talking about. The first thing she says is "I see you brought you Genie" She wasn't making eye contact with either one of us so I thought she was talking about Ryan (because he was wearing blue) and Ryan thought she was talking about his Glowtini. So we both answered her at the same time. She started talking more and we still didn't know what the heck she was talking about.

Up next was Cinderella. She was very brief I think she just said hello and took pictures.

After Cinderella was Mulan! I have never sat down and watched Mulan. I pretty much know the story. Mulan turned out to be Ryan and my favorite one of the night. All of the other ones were a little snobbish. She told us to watch Illuminations and keep a look out for Mushu because he was in charge of the fireworks.

So I didn't get to see Ariel, but it's okay. I'd rather see her with fins than what's that word again? Oh. Feet.

Somewhere in between the princesses and getting the desserts Ryan tells me to turn around becaue the guy behind us looked exactly like Jigsaw from the "SAW" movies. Ryan decides to pretend to take a picture of me, but takes a picture of him. Then he tells me I should put it on my TR. I say "I don't know I'd feel weird if he or his family might happen to see it" Ryan said "Oh come on what is he going to do come to Louisiana and kidnap us?" and I said "That's exactly what he would do" If you've seen those movies you know what I'm talking about. Heres the picture.

Up next our desserts come. I tried all of them, but wasn't really crazy about any of them. I heard a lot about the school bread, but I wasn't really impressed. Ryan didn't like the chocolate cake because it was dark chocolate which would become a theme on this trip.

When we leave we decide to use our fast passes for Soarin'. I LOVED that ride. Ryan was happy to see that in the preshow video Joe from Family Guy was the host. By this time we were so worn out.

We road Soarin' for the first time this last trip and I loved it, too! It's a wonderful ride!!! Can't wait to see if you make it to Illuminations!!!

You guys look like you had so much fun at Akershus! All the pictures you guys took with the princesses came out really good. And that guy behind you DEFINITELY looks like Jigsaw! Veryyyy creepyyyy...and now that I commented on him he's going to come to NY and get me too. So don't worry, at least we'll all be kidnapped together!
