All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

MeMom, the tram and monorail that you bought, did you bring them to school or are they at your house for the girlies to play with when they come? They look like really fun toys!

Jill, what a blessing from God! Congratulations!! :goodvibes

I am mostly a luker in your various trip reports but wanted to come out and say congratulations to Jill & John and to MeMom as well because being the grandmother is best. All the love you get to give and then hand them back to their parents. I am so excited to read your trip report again. It keeps me going between my trips and you seem to be able to get so much done while you're there. I always have such grand plans but then we end up only doing half the things I planned on. Oh well - guess we just need another trip.

At the school I work in, we have a boy there called Jonah. It kinda has John in it :confused3
Three of our teachers have recently anounced that they or their partners are pregnant. I think it must be so hard to pick baby names when you work with so many kids, some of them could quite easily put you off a name :rolleyes1
I'm glad I had my girls before I started working in a school.

Congratulations! Brilliant news for everyone :)
Laughed hard when I saw the pic of Brooklyn and the infamous fountain :rotfl2:

Hope Jill has a happy and healthy pregnancy. Sounds like you'll have a couple of more restful trips this year. I think taking it slow and soaking up the atmosphere sounds perfect for the Florida summer heat!

Congratulations on the upcoming addition! That's always so exciting. We're waiting for the next addition to our family in February. That'll make three grandbabies for my mom, which makes her very happy. I just can't wait to be able to take them to WDW, spoil them, and send them back. :lmao:

I guess I better get more and more jobs for the Disney spoiling I plan to do in the future, huh? I don't think retirement is happening for me anytime soon.

I was chuckling at your name suggestions (are you going to help with the next 6 too? ;) ) - we had considered Erin for DD8, but settled on Paige 2 days after she was born! She just didn't seem like an Erin! I love the name Paige - it's not super common, but not super unusual either.

I'll keep your friend Mike in my prayers! And pray that you are better soon too!

I wouldn't be opposed to her using Joan as a middle name for whatever she picks to honor our Joan.

I got a longer email from Mike today, and he said he had decided to stop all the chemo. He is very swollen. He said he has lost 20+ pounds but looks 50 pounds heavier.

I took an early dose of Nyquil. For some reason, I am sneezing like crazy now. Hopefully it's just another step toward it being over.

Congrats John and Jill! How exciting:banana:

Congratulations Jill!! That is such amazing news.

What wonderful news!!! Congratulations Jill!!

It will make Jill feel good to read all of the messages when she gets to check in. She has a staff meeting tonight, so I don't think she will get DIS time before tomorrow.

They are for the house. My school kids would like them, but they would be quickly torn up, so they are staying good for the house.

It has been a while since we've heard from you and some others. It's nice to know you are still out there. We make priority lists and do our best to get to those things. Sometimes we don't, though. I never made it to Wilderness Lodge this trip, and I knew for sure in my mind that I would do that.

Yep, another trip is just what you need! ::yes::

Jonah is cute. I hadn't thought of that. I don't know if it's acceptable to the John line, though. I don't even know if Jonathan will be, but I think Jill said that Jonathan would be her choice instead of John.

Yeah, there are many names I would not name a kid after having a 'rascal' with that name in one of my classes before.

Brooklynn threw in several coins. ;)

Jill was already talking about what she won't be able to ride this summer, but she can make up for it in October. I'll be happy to hold the little one while she rides everything twice this fall. :thumbsup2

Wow! I missed some very exciting news!:yay: BIG Congratulations to Jill, Memom and family. Jill~ I hope you have a easy pregancy and a happy, healthy baby.

CONGRATS!!!!!! Hope you have a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Thank you both. It's always an exciting time, but there's always a little nervousness, as well, as it goes along. Every doctor's visit is more and more reassuring that all is well. She has not had any kind of morning sickness so far, so that's good. I got sick every day for the first four months with Jill, but barely got sick at all with Trent. I think the difference was that I was getting up and going to work with Jill, so I was getting up too quickly, whereas with Trent, I was able to just take my time and get up slowly. Jill is getting up to go to work, but she's had an easy time of it so far. :thumbsup2

We are still wandering around Everything Pop, by the way. The baby news and the illness has sort of had us wandering there for a little more time than I had expected. :upsidedow

A few pins.

This is the last shopping picture I have.

I am always looking at things for the girls. Even XS is still too big for Bella now, but maybe by the summer, she'll be close to ready for that size. There's not a lot in infantwear, either. They need more size 2. It seems that a lot of the t-shirts start at size 4.

Next time, we'll finish out what little is left of Christmas Day and be ready to officially move on to the first full day.

To end the day, I took pictures of menus so that I (and others who are headed to Pop) could know current choices and prices.

As you see, there is a pretty good selection here.

I walked over to the kiddie waiting room to get a picture of that tree.

And a game for you, if you want to test your Pop knowledge.

Name these three Pop things. (Answers later. I'm not keeping up with answers, and there are no prizes. This is just for your own fun, if you so choose.)

That was the end of Christmas Day. I went back to the room, got a good hot shower, and joined the others in peaceful slumber.

Speaking of peaceful slumber, the Nyquil dreams continue. Last night's adventures included me having my class, along with cousins Dawn and Brandy and their oldest two boys, at a Mansion Room at Port Orleans Riverside. Only the POR mansion was my classroom. There was a tornado coming at dismissal. That's all I remember. I don't remember dreams too often, but I'll know now that when I am needing entertainment, I can pop a Nyquil or two and see an interesting show. (Did I mention the one a couple of nights ago in which my cat was a crocodile? :rolleyes1)

I never buy the pins, but I really love those park pins, especially the ones of the different lands in the MK. They remind me of the posters in the tunnels that I adore.

I hope you're feeling better soon, and won't have to take the Nyquil much longer!

I see a Hidden MeMom. I love looking at all your photos and remincing with you. NyQuil does weird things to me too. I can't take it anymore.

Yeah!!! Hidden Memom sighting :cool1:

Your pics are getting me excited for our upcoming trip  We have never stayed at Pop and I am looking forward to something new. I think that Chloe (DD) is going to love it there. I just hope she gets over not riding the monorail everyday and likes the buses.

As always love the shopping pics.

Hope you continue to feel better.

I love your merchandise pictures! It feels like I'm in the store. I'm not, for some reason... ? :confused3

You mentioning the cat as a crocodile dream made me laugh out loud. Can't even imagine! :rotfl:

You stumped me on those pictures? I guess one stay at Pop isn't enough.

I can relate to the Nyquil issues. I can't take anything that has a sleep aid in it because it makes me delirious. I took Tylenol PM years ago and woke up in the middle of the night thinking my DH had a whole string of knives hanging over my head. :rotfl: Not realizing that the Tylenol was the culprit, I took it again another night and woke up thinking that I was covered in bugs. It was a very crazy feeling so I don't touch anything like that anymore. I'm so glad to hear that your dreams were a little less stressful than my delusions! Sounds like yours were kind of fun! Ok, maybe the cat turning into a crocodile isn't fun, but having POR be your classroom is definitely awesome!

Memom - those Pop menu pictures couldn't have come at a better time! My friend is going to Pop in April and I'm giving her all my best advice. Since I only stayed one night, I didn't get pictures of everything. Lucky for me, you did! I hope you don't mind, but I copied them to share with her.
