All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Just an FYI. Ridemakerz is now inside Team Mickey. They no longer have an independent store! It's at the very back.

And if you want to drop ANY of those desserts off on your way to Disney...we are on the bus route! (we watch the buses everyday, haha as well as the airplanes!) Be sure to

I got a couple of pictures of it when I went in there looking for non-Disney souvenirs for my guys.

Put a big orange flag out in your yard so we can find you! :wave2:

Better yet, just find your way over to Pop Schrenchry. :hippie: ::yes::

What a tired little Brooklynn--even after she and long-neck had their good night's rest!

Disney days can get to you, as we all know! :faint:

After a the unplanned activity of the afternoon - namely Kay having to go into somewhere in Orlando to get a new phone - she was spent. She and Brianna had been squabbling, and she just wanted to call it a night. I can't say that I blame her.

Brooklynn and I, however, found our way over to Magic Kingdom to meet with Dawn, Brandy, and the boys for some nighttime magic.

We spent some time in Tomorrowland.
I think our goal was to ride Space Mountain, but it was down or too long of a wait or something.

DisneyOctober2011687.jpg

We ended up on the TTA.

DisneyOctober2011689.jpg

Late dinner was provided by Casey's.

Some of our yummies.

The time was now -

DisneyOctober2011698.jpg

Brooklynn loves to ride Buzz, so after the boys left, we went over to ride it.

I think we may have ridden it three times - getting off and walking right back on.

Well then, you and my mom could totally commiserate over how much we (well, mostly I) complained about it! To be fair, I definitely do that now, too...if I bake cookies and any of them are overcooked, they're for my family!

This reminded me, Philadelphia cream cheese now has some chocolate cream cheese spread. Dark and milk chocolate. At work today, someone whose order I was bagging was buying it, and when I did a double-take, she told me that this company who does demos/sampling with us was sampling it with Nilla wafers. I bought the milk chocolate kind and some Nilla wafers, and it tastes just like chocolate cheesecake. Working there is such a hazard.

Chocolate and cream cheese - has to be a winner! :thumbsup2

It would be dangerous for me to work in a grocery store!

We did a little intergalactic shopping.

This shirt would work well for me. I don't like people getting close to me when they talk to me.

Then it was time to go.

Another Disney day in the books.

I need that shirt, too.

I love MK at night. We didn't see MSEP on this trip (I admit I am a little hostile over it replacing Spectro), but I love your pictures!

We went to MK for the evening. Just wanted to let you know that the Casey Jr. Splash pad is open. It was AMAZING! Just a word to the wise though...it is more of a drench pad than splash pad so be sure to have a change of clothes and possibly a towel for the girls. Think wet like you got the drenched side of Kali Rapids.

Loving the new updates. Haven't been around much-work and a certain birthday party are taking up all my time. ;). Thanks for the birthday wish on Pat's report :)

Love the picture of the Castle in blue and I love MK at night. Actually all the parks are pretty cool after dark. Almost like being in a whole new place! I'm with Brooklynn...I love Buzz Lightyear too. :thumbsup2

I hope the rumor of Spectro returning this fall is true!

I saw it on video - that's definitely more water fun than I think most people imagined!

You are welcome, and we hope your precious girl has a fabulous weekend! princess:

Definitely different atmospheres at night - the lighting, the difference in temperature as the sun goes down, and usually a thinning of the crowds. ::yes::

Brooklynn has always been a fan of that ride. Since she has become tall enough to ride Space Mountain, I think that has moved up into her top three category.

And that was it for my morning shopping.

Yay for a MeMom picture!!! I love the MK in the evenings, it really is super-magical then!! Glad you and Brooklynn were able to see Wishes and take in a bit more of the MK atmosphere!

Those candy boxes really are cute! And the candy in them is pretty good too! :thumbsup2

You know, Pop has a pretty good selection in that store!! I saw plenty of things I'd like!
I like those early morning pictures. ALMOST inspires me to get up early.
The evening shots are nice too.

Your trip is getting so much closer!! If it weren't summer I'd really be jealous! I like it here in the summer, so I don't feel like I need a vacation. Plus we tried WDW in summer, and I decided I appreciated it more in the winter. It's better to get out of here then!

Glad to see you & Brooklynn in a pic together!!:)

Too bad about Kay's phone. I am sure Brianna would probably have rather been swimming. Too bad they had to take time out of their day to do that. One time Cody lost his favorite Celtics hat on BTMR & we went all over trying to get it & spent time trying to get it back.

Very pretty morning pics at Pop.:thumbsup2

I am glad Kay got a new phone. She had Brianna, and Brianna's mom would not have liked not having contact with her, since they had been constantly sending pictures.

Wouldn't it be nice if the candy boxes were made out of plastic or tin or something you could keep. They would make good storage containers for something. They are a good souvenir to bring home when you are not really sure what to get someone. Food is usually enjoyed by all.

Pop does have good shopping. I am anxious to check out the Ink & Paint Shop at AoA next week, since they have (for now, anyway) some resort merchandise. Pop used to have a bunch of different t-shorts and sweatshirts with its logo.

Being out in the heat is the big drawback to the summer trips. October - December have been our best trips weatherwise. I love being there in the spring, though, after being frozen all winter. :cool2:

I love shopping pictures! And of course Pop pictures. I can't wait to go back!

Pop pictures always make me want to be back there. ::yes::

I occasionally provide a little proof that I am on these trips, too. Not often, but enough to prove I went. ;)

Brianna stayed back at Pop with Brooklynn and me and swam, so it was all good. :thumbsup2

Trent would have been the same with some of his hats.

This was the state of the Goofy Jets as of that morning.

DisneyOctober2011783.jpg

When we went back in December, it was open and fixed, but there was no more water aspect of it. It was just Goofy and the car.

DisneyOctober2011785.jpg

Back at the room, this was on the door.

DisneyOctober2011787.jpg

Today's park was Epcot.

DisneyOctober2011790.jpg

No surprise - we rode and got these.

Next up was Nemo.

DisneyOctober2011804.jpg

Pretty sure I sent Jill a picture here and she texted back commenting on Brooklynn's outfit, which was not what she had put together in the bags. :rolleyes1 Brooklynn decided to mix and match, and I really didn't care, so it worked just fine. :thumbsup2 I think maybe she didn't like something about the shorts that were supposed to go with that shirt. I really don't remember.

Who doesn't like hearing the 'Mine! Mine! Mine!' of this area?

I watched Nemo this morning so I am even more excited to visit The Seas here soon. I also love that mug from Soarin...I think that will have to come home with me this trip.

Everything Pop does have a great selection. A few trips ago I was looking for a specific shirt and pin and ended up finding both of them there. It will be fun to check out AoA. I am hoping they might have some stuff geared toward animation/drawing for my little artist.

I managed to make it to the last day of school with kids. It was touch and go for a few days though! Now I have two workdays although I already have pretty much everything done. Such a waste of time. Tuesday afternoon we are off and stopping in Santee, South Carolina. So excited!

I was working on trip plans and everything today and noticed that we have a 7:00 ADR at Cape May on the 27th which I think is the Yeehaw Bob meet. So, we may be late. Anita and her gang have the same ressie as well, unless they changed theirs.

Did you end up booking Olivia's? We are having breakfast there on our last morning, the 29th before heading home.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

I love starting a day with Soarin'! I especially loved in January that people who didn't care for Soarin' still got Fastpasses, so my mom and I got to use them and ride a few times!

I see they are bringing back more resort-specific merchandise at the DVC resorts, so hopefully Disney has learned the lesson that people like it and bring it back to all resorts!!!

I will bet they have lots of cool drawing things at AofA!!

I really like all the pictures of ornaments. Someday I would like to have a Disney only tree. I bring home one ornament each time we go.

Soarin' and Nemo, great way to start a day at Epcot.
