All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

I love Small World. I would look at a million photos of it. It's just so Disney to me. :goodvibes

The picture of Brooklynn snoozing is too precious!

I am so enjoying your fall trip. Loving all the shopping and parade pictures. Especially love the pic of Brooklyn saying she needs a Long Neck. That is just to funny...I can just imagine her fluttering her eyelashes as she's asking. Love the picture of the 2 of them sleeping together. Too adorable.

Please don't stop showing us your trips and family. It's what keeps me from going stir-crazy between our trips. Plus now you guys seem like good friends and I hope some day we'll meet in "real life" too. Other people that don't understand how we feel we can know each other without meeting are just missing out on all the fun times we have here.

You don't have long now til you'll be there and I hope you'll send lots of pics to FB for us to pretend we're there with you guys! :thumbsup2

Loved Brooklynn's creative answer about needing a friend with a long neck! She's one smart girl and I bet she'll go far with all that quick thinking!

She's smart alright.....

or maybe manipulative of her MeMom might be a better way to phrase it.

You should have seen her face when she realized she was getting to stay in Disney World with me after Jill left.

And it had nothing to do with me, I can assure you. ;)

She was quietly formulating plans to get her shop on!

Our trip will just be me and my oldest daughter Morghan. This is a special 13th birthday gift. :goodvibes

What a great end to the night. The pirate pictures are great! I love that Brookie is sleeping with her long necked friend. :cloud9:

You will have such a great time just focusing on her. What a great gift!

Memom,

I know I don't post here often but I do check your reports every morning!!! They help me start my work day!!! I enjoy reading them as it gives me my Disney fix and I also enjoy reading and watching Brooklynn and Bella grow!!! Can't wait to see pics of the newest Princess!!!!! Please don't stop writing. Can't believe your trip is almost here I know you are excited for that! Our trips will overlap again in October maybe this time we can meet in the parks!!! Have a great day!! :yay::banana::cool1::wizard:

We will try to work out a place to cross paths in October. :thumbsup2 You can see the newest DIS baby.

Four pans of brownies? I'll be right there! ;)

I know you don't like pictures of yourself (my mom is the same exact way), but that's such a good picture of you and Brooklynn on Dumbo!

And strawberry cake.
I will be making banana pudding on Saturday. Those are the desserts for Sunday. :goodvibes

I never take good pictures. My face is awful and I am as big as a whale. I try to ignore it, but when I see it in pictures, it just makes me mad. Yet, I can't get the motivation to do anything about it. :sad2:

It is a classic, isn't it? We enjoy it, and even John doesn't balk at going on it once during a trip. Some people really do hate it, I think more for the repetitive music than for the scenery.

I forgot that she fell asleep until I looked at the pictures, but at least Brianna got to see the parade.

I really do hope that day comes when we can meet in person. You guys have been around a long time. You and Declansdad (and families) end up going at the times we have just started back to school, so that doesn't work for us at all. Maybe we'll all manage a holiday trip at the same time one of these days.

I am sure Jill will keep FB lit up with plenty of Disney pictures as we travel along. I hope they do bring you happiness! :wizard:

Four pans of brownies sounds dangerous! :-) Looks like you had an amazing morning in MK!

I will probably be eating some edge pieces after while. Wouldn't want to give the campers any ugly edge pieces, right? :rolleyes1

I am coming along! I have to tell you that seeing our photo from Halloween made me laugh and laugh!!! :rotfl:

And hearing about the missing pottery caper also had me in stitches because I remember how "fit to be tied" you were over that!!! Who WOULDN'T be!!??!! I am looking forward to going to the AK. We have not been to see Nemo and FOTLK in SOOOO long!!! I have only seen Nemo once. I can't wait to go!

Oh and I loved Brooklynn's comment about NEEDING someone with a long neck... LOL!!!

You are heading out in just a few days! We have officially two weeks today. fourteen days from now! Though my Ticker says less!!! :rolleyes1 I kind of feel compelled to change it, I know it will move along fast! We'll be getting up right now on the train, getting closer to the stop! We get there usually around 7:30 am, so I have the timing right this morning at least!!!

Love the two pirates. We have that planned. The question I have, or, the question I am thinking about, is if the boys would want to do the pirate makeup, OR, go to the Car shop in DTD. The build a car store, I forget the name, I think it is still there... I can't see buying those if I am doing the pirate makeup... We'll see...

Hi. I am just catching up on Memoms report and saw your post. The car shop is Ridesmaker or something like that. It isnt a stand alone shop now but it is located in the back of the sports store next to TrenD. Have fun!

Famous balloon guy.

I stayed at Pop with the girls while Kay got a cab and went to find a phone store, as her phone had been dropped and broken earlier in the day. It took the better part of the afternoon for her to do that, so we didn't end up doing a lot that day.

I am so excited to be going back to POP next week. I really fell in love with it when we went. I am not a pool person but found myself drawn to the Hippy Dippy Pool during the afternoon. It was so much fun and and a great atmosphere. The kids had fun at the poolside party and enjoyed the games. I even got in the water. I am not a good swimmer so I usually avoid water, but I couldn't help myself. At night, we would hit up the computer pool. We have yet to go to the bowling pin pool, but we will try to do it this time.

That Precious Moments figurine is SO cute. Charles got me one for my birthday; it's a little Cinderella figurine with a cake!

I will probably be eating some edge pieces after while. Wouldn't want to give the campers any ugly edge pieces, right? :rolleyes1

This cracked me up because we STILL tease my mom over this...she'd make something like brownies for an event, and let us eat some, but just the edges and the corners. :rotfl: Actually, when I was making cookies one time for Thanksgiving or something, I set aside two plates. One was labeled "Charles's family," and the other was labeled "for us (edges and corners.)" I couldn't help myself.

Hurray for a MeMom picture! Those are far more elusive than awake lions pictures on the safari! LOL!

Opening the box of goodies was the BEST!

I think you have hit on a great spin for pictures for the summer trip! I definitely think views from random objects would be a hoot!

Yay a picture of MeMom!

Plus the sleepy Brooklynn picture is cute too! I bet the girls enjoyed the pool time!

I love the brownie edge pieces!

Lovely morning in the MK. I can't wait to see what pictures you get this next trip. Lots of new stuff to see in Fantasyland.

Oh Brooklyn! That was one tired girlie! And I loved the picture of you two on Dumbo - adorable!!

We're with family this weekend in Lake Geneva. Getting ready to go to the pool in a bit, then just relaxing the rest of the day! :)

Have a great day!

Oh my goodness, I looked everywhere for that animal print Mickey mug! Do you happen to remember what store it was from?? (It's okay if you don't remember, though.) :goodvibes

Hahaha, the long neck comment made me laugh. How clever!

Pretty sure it was at Mombasa right by the entrance to the safari.

I also saw the mug in MK in Adventureland across from the treehouse before you get to the Magic carpets ( or flying blankies if you are Brookelizabeth's Henry);)

I never take good pictures. My face is awful and I am as big as a whale. I try to ignore it, but when I see it in pictures, it just makes me mad. Yet, I can't get the motivation to do anything about it. :sad2:

You are on beautiful lady inside and out. I will never stop reminding you of that. Someday you will believe me.

Thank you so much for letting me know! I will definitely look there! :goodvibes

So, brownies, strawberry cake, AND banana pudding! You are going to send some of that over here, right? ;)

What a wonderful morning at the MK! I can't imagine a better way to start the day with Mickey waffles and Fantasyland classics!

The photos of the MK all done up for Halloween are making me practically jump out of my skin in excitement! Oct needs to come now! Can't we rearrange things just a little, and have Oct be right after June- just this year?

I'm sorry Kay was having phone trouble! That is the worst on vacation! I hope everything got worked out!

Yes, I think it is Ridemakerz. I think even my big boy, Drew, would enjoy playing around in that place.

Hi Memom
I am catching up on your report again. I just posted my pics from MK and AofA
from last weekend. I think maybe I spent a total of 2 hrs all together but I managed to take some nice pics. Enjoy
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=45181555&posted=1#post45181555

Thanks for sharing! They were fun to see, and I am glad you got to go over to AoA for a little while. You can always come back up in a couple of weeks. :rolleyes1

If Jill doesn't find anything that thrills her to do a nursery with, Precious Moments would be perfect. They are so cute, and she already has several Disney ones.

Yeah, my kids grew up on edges of brownies and 'ugly' cookies.

The View from my Watermelon....hmmmm...

How about if I get in the lions' area and get a picture of me with a lion??? :upsidedow That would be a rare photo.

And then we could probably get a picture of Disney jail.

Yay a picture of MeMom!

Plus the sleepy Brooklynn picture is cute too! I bet the girls enjoyed the pool time!

They very much enjoyed the pool. Brooklynn thinks she can swim like a fish now. :fish: She can't, but she thinks she can.

I love the brownie edge pieces!

Lovely morning in the MK. I can't wait to see what pictures you get this next trip. Lots of new stuff to see in Fantasyland.

I have cameras and SD cards ready to roll! :thumbsup2

You are far too kind, as usual.

Thanks for helping know where the mug can be found in MK.

So, brownies, strawberry cake, AND banana pudding! You are going to send some of that over here, right? ;)

Leaving this summer will be made easier knowing that we will be back in October. :goodvibes

I also decided to make cheesecake, as I was doing round two of grocery shopping this morning. Would you like some of that, too? :)

Just an FYI. Ridemakerz is now inside Team Mickey. They no longer have an independent store! It's at the very back.

And if you want to drop ANY of those desserts off on your way to Disney...we are on the bus route! :drive: (we watch the buses everyday, haha as well as the airplanes!) Be sure to

What a tired little Brooklynn--even after she and long-neck had their good night's rest! ;)

Yeah, my kids grew up on edges of brownies and 'ugly' cookies.

Well then, you and my mom could totally commiserate over how much we (well, mostly I) complained about it! To be fair, I definitely do that now, too...if I bake cookies and any of them are overcooked, they're for my family!

I also decided to make cheesecake, as I was doing round two of grocery shopping this morning. Would you like some of that, too? :)

This reminded me, Philadelphia cream cheese now has some chocolate cream cheese spread. Dark and milk chocolate. At work today, someone whose order I was bagging was buying it, and when I did a double-take, she told me that this company who does demos/sampling with us was sampling it with Nilla wafers. I bought the milk chocolate kind and some Nilla wafers, and it tastes just like chocolate cheesecake. Working there is such a hazard.
