All clear for drive down? Any concerns?

We're to leave on Saturday. I'm wondering how the drive will be down - gas stations, etc.

We usually take I75 to Florida Turnpike, then Route 27 to Highway 192.

Anyone know if this is clear to drive thru?

Wondering the same thing for my parents. They were going to leave Saturday to drive from Sarasota (FL west coast) to Akron, Ohio but have sort of altered their route I think.

DH & MIL started their drive to FL from MA early this morn (1am)
They are still planning on taking 95 as far as they can before they get detours to MILs Barefoot Bay/Melbourne home.
They are planning 2nights instead of the usual 1. Want to get to her house in the early light instead of nighttime.
Any idea how far south they can drive until they run into trouble?

I think your best bet would be to call AAA. They tend to have a pretty good idea of what road conditions are. I haven't driven to FL, but I have drived to other places that were quite far away and AAA has always been a great source of info.

I just heard from my Dad who drove back into Florida from GA.

The roads were fine (he takes I-95 to I-4 through Orlando, I think) He said he never lets his gas tank get below half due to some shortages.
