All About Fixed Weeks (RIV/CCV/AUL/VGF/POLY Charts)

If you want to get an estimate before they release it just find the points for a week during for 2025 and add 10%. It will be very close except for some weeks that change between booking periods year to year.

But based on how expensive those point charts are say it wouldn't really be worth using it most of the time. The only ones I would consider are the lowest cost categories that would be hardest to book. Duo studio standard, studio standard, 2br lockoff standard. Or unless you want to buy a few more points anyway and just want a popular week as insurance either for booking security or because you think the point chart may increase in the future. Anything else wouldn't really be worth it. The more expensive the point chart, the more the extra 10% costs you each time you decide to keep the week.

I’d pick Week 49 - Poly Standard Studio

1st week December 139pts + 10% = 153pts and cross into 150pt incentives

Dreaming of 150pt incentives at $185pp, maybe we’d consider $29k? I’d much prefer $175pp/$27k lol

If this Favorite Week came with a Trader Sam’s reservation at checkin that’d help convince the family 🌺🍹🧟‍♂️🌺

Can you divide a fixed week across multiple contracts? I assume the answer is no, in which case most of the fixed week options are going to require insanely large harder-to-sell contracts.

Not sure the latest on all the breakdowns but many have been under 150 points or there abouts. You really are not getting to the harder to sell range until you are upwards of 200 points.

Yes 50 point contracts will sell better but you are getting hit with more closing costs on the flip side as well.

Additionally depending on how point charts change people have come out ahead. As an example this next year I can save 2 points for one week and 6 points for the other week vs what I paid for them. Others came out even further ahead.

I’ve been thinking about this week as well as I’m looking to buy 150 anyway to get a blue card. I don’t think it will be below $200 at the 150 level (but will be pleasantly surprised if it is!)

Alternatively I might go for FW 35 to cover end of August start of September… possible to come out ahead on this depending on how they calculate the cost of the week this year… and it coincides with my long summer stays.

I had been considering FW35 at RIV for similar reasons - ended up going with different weeks but still think it’ll be a good week long-term!

My guide shared it
wow, compared to 2017 the 51-52 weeks went from 206 to 266 for a standard view studio.

Did the points just get re-allocated that much or does the cost of the fixed week depends on how much of 51/52 week is in the lower point season the year the chart comes out.

I’m not sure but wow… FW52 @ 266…yikes. I own FW52 at CCV and it’s 161. Obviously POLY is a preferred resort for many but that’s still a huge spread for the same week.

POLY is priced as THE resorts at WDW I feel now. I looked at our stay next summer and it was like 60% more points for the same dates over Riviera in a 2BR Std.

I remember people saying RIV was expensive lol.

Yeah I don’t think it’ll be under $200 but one can dream :wizard:

I thought they might have used 2024 or 2025 to set favorite week prices at Poly since most room types weren't even around in 2023 but I guess not. If you buy a standard studio FW 39 and used it every year through the end of the contract, you would save 534 points even after paying the 10% premium (assuming point charts didn't change).

Yeah looks like they are still using 2023 calendar as the year to base fixed weeks off. For example, Week 39 in 2024 with poly standard studio points would have been 144 points. The favorite week is 114 points.

Poly favorite week 39 is an even better discount than Riviera.

Wow that’s crazy. I wonder if they’ll update the FW points?
