All 5 of us had Swine Flu - but off to see the Queen tomorrow!

Hi everyone.
Firstly thanks for all your posts and messages of concern.
I've not been around since posting about possibly having Swine Flu but it's because all 5 of us have had it!
We are all fine now and locked and loaded with 'Tami Flu' medication.

DD (7) had it first from my 18yr brother in law and then DH and I got it and the twins (1) .
We were ok for about a week but not feeling quite right and then we had two/three terrible days of Stiff necks, headaches, runny noses.
The worse symptom was feeling that we couldn't hold our heads up and we just wanted to lie down alot.

DD is back and school today.

And............ tomorrow we are off to BUCKINGHAM PALACE!
I can't wait so excited and so glad we feel better.

My outfit is all laid out ready to take to London after the school run and I'm having my hair pinned up in the morning.

It is supposed to shower, but never fear I have brought a little frilly red umbrella to hook over my arm to save my dress and fascinator!

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm wondering if anybody that has come into contact with Swine Flu can give me some advice.

DH has one to work today and the guy he shares an office with told him a couple of days ago that his daughter is getting over swine Flu. Today this guy had heavy cold symptoms but was still in work. My DH comes into one of the serious high risk categories and I'm really worried, should I be? The NHS direct website only gives instructions if you have symptoms. I don't want it to get that far. My MIL is high risk (he was with her all day Sunday) and we have a child under five.
To top it all DH starts jury service tomorrow

Sorry to hear you also have had swine flu glad you are all feeling better.
Sadly we arrived home from Orlando on Monday,and too have all the swine flu symptoms,we are currently house bound and have had Tamiflu delivered for all 4 of us.
I'm more worried about the younger family member's at the moment.

If anyone is concerned ring NHS direct and wait on the phone to speak to someone,they was a great help with us lastnight,and acted very quickly.
We had our Tamiflu delivered late lastnight,and the youngest's this morning as she needed a different dosage.
