Good morning everybody,

I need some specific info on the teaparty please. My DD is 7 and DS is 9. DS has just declined my invitation to go to tea so I wondered how it works for one girl. Does she do this by herself or am I able to go too or optional? How long does it really take start to finish? Price for one, and an adult if appropriate? Other than Alice who else is there? Should she dress up like "real tea with the Queen???? Have you been recently and was it *worth* the park break and the time involved........would you do it again???????:Pinkbounc

Thanks again in advance:D

you can't stay for the whole time, you are allowed to take her into the room and help her find her seat-- take a picture of the table, it is very cute. My son who is 6 went by himself and he was fine.

You check in at 1:15, they start promptly at 1:30 and end promptly at 2:30.

Price for one, and an adult if appropriate?
24.95 for the child-- ages 3-10

Other than Alice who else is there?
Mad Hatter-- they play games with him-- follow the mad hatter maybe, and then they get their picture taken with both of them and signatures also-- you get the pictures as a souvenir.

Should she dress up like "real tea with the Queen????
the dress ranged-- but most little girls had cute summer dresses on.

I think you also asked if it was worth it--
we thought it was-- we made a 2:00 seating for the tea-- and had tea while he was there-- my dh went and got him when his tea was over and he finished tea with us. It was a refreshing break from the heat and we all emerged ready to tackle the parks again.

Hope this helps. Diane

Thanks for your quick reply, I'll talk it over with my Disney princess.

Can anyone verify for sure that the parents can't stay and observe? The info I had received from DU said parents were welcome to stay & observe or could leave, which is why I chose this particular event.

I realize we won't be participating, but know that my littles would feel much better if we were at least in a corner where they could see us, etc..

Thanks for any info you can share.

Here's some information about the Wonderland Tea Party with pictures: http://pscalculator.net/psreview_007.shtml

From all accounts, the parents are asked to leave. Many take advantage of the Grand Floridian restaurants while their children have tea with Alice and the Madhatter.

Enjoy! :teeth:

My dd age 8 went last year. She was by herself, but felt right at home with the other children their. Thankfully kids are like that, they make friends easily. My daughter loved it. We (parents) weren't allowed to stay. You drop them off, you can take a picture or 2, but then we had to leave & come back in time to pick her up. You can sit outside the room and wait and try and peak through the windows. We did that and then realized that she was perfectly safe and went to grab a cup of coffee & we sat outside near the pool. When it was time to pick her up we were there with the rest of the parents eagerly awaiting for them to come out. They ALL had GIANT smiles on there faces. She loved it so much that she wants to do it again when we go down in July.

When I took my niece we were sent packing. They closed the doors, parents couldn't stay, end of story. We were allowed to peek in from outside in the hall through the curtained doors, but had a very limited view of what was happening.

Finally anne...WE AGREE! They want all grown-ups out. You will be given a beeper if anything requires your attention. 2 of my daughters 6 & 4 were there & loved it.

My dd loved the tea. Those of us that weren't 'invited' went and had some terrific desserts on our own for the hour or so. Tell your dd that you will stay in the hotel, just in case. Within about 7 minutes, she will have forgotten that you're not there!! We would do it again, but dd is too old now.

Hmmm...I don't recall being given a beeper. But maybe this is something newer...we were there over 1 1/2 years ago.
