Hi, Has anyone been to the Alice in Wonderland Tea at the Grand Floridian? How was it? Is it worth the price? My daughter just turned 4 and loves the characters and tea parties of course! Any information would be great. Thanks!:D

My daughter went last April when she was about 4 1/2. She enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the hour or so to wander around the GF and relax. They give you a beeper so they can page you if they need to. They were a little lax when I picked her up, though. I was surprised they didn't have a check out system of some kind. Kids were running everywhere, just going with parents (as far as the CMs were concerned anyway).

We would do it again. I think she might enjoy it more now as she is almost 6.

I left a camera for them to take pictures with, but they didn't use it. I was disappointed in that.

Overall, it was nice and she had a good time.

My DS3 and DD5 both attended the Wonderland Tea party in April and really enjoyed the experience. Parents were allowed to go in with their children to get them seated, so I was able to view the table...wish I was staying for tea!!!;) It was whimsically decorated. We provided our two with disposable cameras and not a whole lot of pictures were taken. But they did receive a nice souvenir photo of themselves with the Mad Hatter and Alice.
If your DD loves tea parties and characters, and doesn't mind spending the time away from you, she will thoroughly enjoy this.

My daughter has done the Tea Party three times and LOVES it!!! She loves her tea (apple juice), and always let me know that they decorated their own cupcake! To spread the icing on the cupcake, you use your finger as the knife - and you get to lick it clean!!! They play games, she talked about crawling on the floor, and to the parents who are looking through the curtains on the door, they'd yell "No Peeking"! Its really a lot of fun for the kids.

We've walked around the Grand Floridian, had a drink by the pool, or we have lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe, while waiting for Allison.

I would highly recommend the Tea Party. The times that Allison went, we had to show our receipt to get into the room where the kids were. As I walked out with my daughter, I had to show the receipt again.

Our 4 yo DD did it on our trip last May and loved it. She wants to do it again on our next trip. They do some fun stuff and have some surprises for mom and dad, but you'll have to go to find out what ;). It was really cute and worth the $25.
