Hi everyone! Could you please tell me the different places we can experience anything from Alice in Wonderland while in WDW? My non-Disney loving daughter has recently formed a love for Tim Burton's remake of the movie. She has resisted all Disney before this so I want to take advantage! Please remind me of all the Alice I can find while in WDW. Rides, shops, meals, character greetings, etc. Many thanks to you! :goodvibes

I don't know of anything pertaining to the new movie anywhere on property. Mad Tea Party in MK is classic AiW. You can meet Alice, and the White Hare there in the mornings, as well at in the United Kingdom pavilion.

You can dine with Alice and Mary Poppins and some of the Winnie the Pooh characters at the 1900 Park Fare Supercalifragilistic breakfast. You can meet the wonderland characters at 1900 Park Fare Wonderland afternoon tea (ages 4-12) while doing arts and crafts.

In the Emporium at MK they have Cheshire cat pillow pets.

Breakfast at 1900 Park Faire usually has Alice in attendance (she is 12 year old Alice.) Also there are Pooh Tigger and Mad Hatter (occasionally Mary Poppins. I suppose it is the British side of Disney. You can also find Alice and Mary in England in Epcot. Please expect the Disney versions: not warrior Alice.

Yeah, sorry, but I think most all of the representations of Alice in Wonderland at WDW are based on the Disney animated movie and not the more recent Tim Burton movie. They might have some merchandise from the Tim Burton movie, but I've not seen any activities or character meet and greets.

Disneyland (in California) has the Mad T Party which is based on the Tim Burton version, but as far as I know, there is nothing like that at WDW.

This post might be a stretch, but since I am currently listening to the Almost Alice soundtrack, I had to chime in...

Your daughter has excellent taste... I love Tim Burton! (Not that what I love means excellent taste, but you know what I mean :rotfl: )

I agree with all the posters above, AIW in WDW is the disney movie version....BUT...

In Nightmare before Christmas Jack Skellingtons' singing voice is done by Danny Elfman, who composes on almost all Tim Burton (maybe all?) movies. At the very least he did "Alice's theme" on Almost Alice, music inspired by the movie. There is a connection that might interest your daughter...(I guess depending on how old she is) So Nightmare before Christmas = Tim Burton AIW, kind of.

there is another vague correlation that I had at the tip of my brain before I started writing this post that has escaped me at the moment. It's late and I had a couple of adult beverages, but if it comes back to me I'll post tomorrow!

oh yea, Frankenweenie is Elfman also, but that is not what I was thinking of that I forgot earlier...I know my ramblings are probably not that helpful, but thanks for listening! :thumbsup2

I feel obligated to chime in on this thread.;)

As others have mentioned, there is no Tim Burton representation of AIWL in WDW. You would have to visit Disneyland (specifically, DCA) in order to catch any glimpse of it.

Here are just a few pics from our trip there in February...

As noted, you can find Alice and Poppins in the UK in EPCOT. We ran across a meet-and-greet for both at the same time in the UK children's bookstore one time, so for a different twist on autographs/keepsakes, we got our girls relevant books and had the respective character sign the book. One daughter (12) is huge Poppins fan. Other (9) had been Alice for Halloween that year, so she was excited about that.

The last time I went to the 1900 Park Fair breakfast the Mad Hatter was there as well (from the original Disney version of course).

I loved this at DCA last time I went. I didn't know what to expect. The music was fantastic and the crowd was very local. Great themed drinks too.
