Alice in Wonderland film

We saw it last Wednesday on the Orange 2 4 1 and it was OK. Nothing more, nothing less. It was typically Tim Burton.

I would suggest that by no means is it a film for young children as it is quite dark in places and the head severing is quite graphic.

Saw it twice! First in 2D and then in 3D!! AMAZING

I saw this on Saturday in 2d and really enjoyed it. There were parts that seemed a little made up on the spot (especially the Queen asking the frogs about her tarts) and I thought Helena Bonham-Carter's queen was a total rip-off of Miranda Richardsn's Queenie from Black Adder.

But on the whole a very enjoyable film. It was very "Tim Burton" as it should be but I don't think the small children in the cinema really liked it. (By small I mean pre-schoolers.)

(Had to smirk at a group of teenagers next to us that were trying to get kids tickets for a 15 film - they didn't think that one through!!)

I saw this on saturday, i have to say i was pleasently surprised...i was prepared to hate it after reading this thread but i liked it

Johhny depp played Hatter well and i definatly did not see jack sparrow in him

I still have yet to see this - I'm a huge Johnny Depp fan but am concerned I may be turned off him in this - it took me a while to forgive him for his look as Willy Wonka! aha.

Just, ahem, acquired this and watched it on Friday.
Was ok, not great, not awful.

I actually thought Depp was quite good, which is useful as his recent roles have started to bore me with their similarities (get back to good stuff like when you made Donnie Brasco!) although Helena Bonham Carter seemed to have watched far too much Blackadder and based her whole performance on Miranda Richardson's Queen Elizabeth!!

So like I say, not bad, but glad I didn't shell out any money to go see it
